Survive Or Die

Chapter 1

«previously, in the first book»
After I got kidnapped and somehow killed the people that kidnapped me, I escaped the cops by running out the room's window, and now I think I'm on my own.

So I found a little forest behind the building they kept me in. Now I knew I was really far from home because there aren't any forest where I lived. And since the cops were there, I had to make a run for it and get out of the building.
I ran as fast as I could to the forest but I think they saw me. I didn't even dare to look behind me. I ran for a long time until they finally started shooting!
I'm pretty sure this is what happened next. So somehow I was able to make like an invisible shield that came out of this thing I didn't even know I was wearing on my wrist.
And finally, since I was too busy looking at my "power wrist" , they shot me in the foot and I fell to the ground. They cane up to me, it was too late to get up now, and they said:
"WHERE DID SHE GO!?!?!"
"STOP PLAYING AROUND!"
I didn't get what they were saying I watched them foolishly look around for me while I was right under their feet. Then it hit me,
I WAS INVISIBLE!???
Well of course I can accidentally kill people by making a fire ring around me or levitate thing and make a shield but being invisible, no one will believe me!
