Werewolf gets chased by mate

Capter 11

Ambers Pov
I have been hiding from Zac for about 3 days and I have been hiding in a cave behind a waterfall so he can't find me. I have heard him pass me more then 5-7 times a day calling for me saying he is sorry but I'm too scared that he could hit me again so I don't want to move. Angel keeps trying to mind link me but I don't say anything. I hardly eaten ever since I ran away though and Zac and I are fully mated as well but I put on perfume so he couldn't track my scent which was a good thing for me. Maybe I should go back and talk to him. I will go talk to him I'm over being in this waterfall so I'm gonna go back and talk to him.
On my way back I smell his scent somewhat behind me so I run in my wolf form to the pack house and ask Angel to open the door for me and that's what she does then I run up the stairs to mine and Zac's room and Angel opens the door again and I walk in I shift back into my human form and choose an outfit and go to take a shower. After the shower I dry myself and put my cloths on. When I finally walk out Zac is sitting on the bed waiting for me. Once I fully enter the room he lifts his head up and is about to get up and hug me but before he could even get up I was already on the bed sitting next to him.
"Hey" I said in an uneasy voice.
"Hey Amber listen I'm really sorry about slapping you. You didn't deserve it I just don't know what came over me can you ever forgive me?" Zac said sounding sincere about what he said.
"Look Zac I love you and all but what you did isn't forgivable just like that I'm sorry your gonna have to work to get me to trust you again I'm sorry." I said back feeling like a bitch for it.
