Zephyr (noun) a soft, gentle breeze. Like the one you felt when you first heard her sing the song that reminds you of the pain you once felt. She made the cold night warm with the just a simple sound.
All I know is we said hello
So dust off your highest hopes"She's really good, isn't she? She sings for free," Mike told me. I couldn't care less. Your voice made me feel like the world now revolves around me and you, and your song.
All I know is a new found grace
All my days, I'll know your face
All I know since yesterday is everything has changedYou went off stage and caught me still staring at you. You smiled. It felt like the world stopped spinning and my heart raced against itself. You went over and said hello. You had me at hello.
Write (verb) you don't know how to express your feelings and don't know how to get it off your chest. You get so fidgety about the unexplainable thing in your chest. You take a blank piece of paper and a pen and color the world with blank ink.
"What's her name?"
"Her?" Mike asked. We were on our way home. The Gig was successful thanks to you.
"The singer from the gig. The one who sings for free,"
"Oh, Sana?"
"Her name's Sana?" he nodded.
"I found it weird too," he said.
"It's not weird. It's..." I tried to think of a word to describe your word but Mike reached his house and we took separate ways.
At home I continued thinking about words to describe you and your name. I'm lost for words. I took out a pen and jotted down every beautiful thing about you; your smile, your name, your voice. I ended up with a song.
Silly (adj.) when she won't believe a word you say. She had her heart broken for so many times - her trust spilled over - she can't open up her doors for anyone. You're a fool for loving her.
You called me silly for saying things you think I don't really mean. I told you I like you. Your voice felt like it serenated me and took all the worries I have. I need that. I need you.
"Silly, I think you listen to me singing too much,"
"I don't. It was the first time I heard you sing. Last month, I think I forgot how to even breathe. You..." I hesitated for a while. "You caught me off guard with your voice. You had me at hello,"
"I don't think you understand the feeling you're going through. Tristan, sort your feelings out first. I can't risk another chance and end up with bruises and scars. Bruises heal but scars don't," she said and walked away from me. I watched her figure slowly disappear among the sea of crowds that tries to eat me too.
Light (noun) the world is dark and she suffered long enough. Save her.
"Tristan, leave," you said. Your words cut like knives.
"No, let me stay,"
"You wouldn't wanna stay. You'll just end up like them - leaving because of the darkness I bring,"
"No. Don't you know? Your eyes could be mistaken as city lights for its beauty. But the city lights and the stars seem to dim little by little because of you,"
