Akeldama and Cerberus's relationship had always been rather strained. From the moment he was in the cradle, Akeldama giving him knives in hope that he would mortally wound himself. When he was three, Akeldama had set him lose in Purgatory itself, watching as he gleefully waddled through flames. But this day was more than just sibling rivalry. This was a day that would change how the entirety of Hell would see the relationship between the two siblings.

A middle class demon, in his stark arrogance, had approached the small prince, thinking that he could kill the boy and rid the underworlds of another spoiled brat of a demon. He had reached down, Cerberus blissfully unaware that he was in mortal danger, when, much to the middle class demon's surprise, he found that he could no longer move any closer to the boy. He turned a snarl on his lips, about to destroy any demon who thought they could challenge him for the brat's life, when he stopped, his face going pale as ice. A very pissed Akeldama stood before him, eyes lit in fury, a snarl painting her crimson lips bloodily. He backed away slowly, eyes darting from side to side, obviously looking for a escape route from the furious heir.

"Hello, your highness. I was simply going to rid the Netherworlds of this pest. I was sure that you would approve." A sudden wide, maniac smile crossed her face, fangs twisting her face into a horrific mask. The demon backed up even more, breathing speeding in panic. The female slowly advanced on him, making sure to keep her back to Cerberus so that the demon would have no chance at him. The other suddenly tripped on a ark of brine stone on the obsidian ground. Akeldama gave a feral grin... And pounced.

Cerberus blinked widely up at his big sister as she walked back over to him, fingers streaked with black blood and innards staining her smile. Akeldama carefully picked up the young demon, giving him a sugary smile as she did so.

"Come now, little brat. Let us go feed you cyanide with your formula. Perhaps that will finally snuff you out..." Turning, the women walked away with a giggling toddler, leaving a cooling corpse and shrieking vultures that soon descended in wake of the demons leave.

-------------------

That was the day that Akeldama finally knew where to draw the limit when it came to her younger brother. She could hurt him all she liked... But if anyone else so much as looked at him wrong, they will end up in pieces. The relationship is a odd one, but aren't all families? Also, Akeldama found out that day that cyanide does not kill demon toddlers. So. Disappointing.
