Chapter 13

Qian Xi POV

Sherry and I sat down in the food court. I hesitated before I snapped my pair of chopsticks in half.

The face Yue Han made was still stuck in my mind...

"Are you here together?" She said.
"Have fun." She said.

I ruffled my hair in frustration as I thought about her.

"Qian Xi are you okay?" Sherry asked as she stared up at me.

"Yeah I'm sorry..." I responded spinning my chopsticks around.

"So what books do you like to read?" She smiled as she started eating.

When she said she was going home... Did she really?

"Any." I responded.

"Ahh I see, what subjects do you enjoy?" She continued.

Did she go home safe?

"Maths."

Is she even at home yet?

"So do you wanna go anywhere later?"

"No. Is she still here?" I hadn't realised I said it out loud until Sherry furrowed her eyebrows and let out a "what?"

"Um... I mean what did you just ask?" I laughed awkwardly.

"Eh... So is there any where you wanna go later-"

I had to check...

"I'll be right back, I'm going to the restroom." I cut in and stood up from my seat.

"Is it Yue Han...?" I heard her mumble just before I left.

I stared at her in confusion.

"Ah...I'm sorry." She pursed her lips as I shrugged.

"Why is he only giving me one word responses..." Sherry bit her lip as she clenched her fists tightly.

"Is she still here or has she left..." I mumbled to myself as I walked around.

"You can talk to me if you want? It's him isn't it?"

That was when I had heard Jun Kai's voice.

My eyes drifted slowly to the girl next to him.

"Yue Han!" I gasped as I quickly covered my mouth making sure she didn't hear me.

She shook her head gently as Jun Kai continued asking her questions.

I felt the rage within me burst when I saw Jun Kai's hand touching her face as she sat there.

She pushed his hand away gently with a laugh.

Why's she smiling at him...

Next his hand reached for her head and this time she didn't seem to mind.

I couldn't hold it in anymore.

"Wang Yue Han!" I yelled as I walked up to them, she stared at me in astonishment as I clenched my fists.

Wait what am I doing?

I hadn't even realised I had walked up to them...

"You're coming with me." I forcefully pulled her up from the chair as she moaned in pain.

"Let go YiYang Qian Xi don't touch me!" She cried as she tried pulling away.

"Can't you see she doesn't want to go with you?" Jun Kai yelled pulling her away from me.
