Chappie. 3

Madison's P.O.V

"Jack what'd you see last night?" I was curious, I was still just slightly awake and I remember looking up and he was facing out the window with the most horrified facial expression. So I waited for a good time to ask him, and this would be the best out of any other times. He begins to speak, "I don't know what exactly it," but he gets cut off by Kayla screaming at the top of her lungs. We share a quick look with fear in our eyes and we run off into the woods to find her.

When we finally find her she had thrown her self onto the ground and Sammy was trying to comfort her and keep her from looking back. I turn around to see the creepy old man from before hung from a tree, with a note in his hands.
"Leave, or you might end up like he did if only he would've taken his own advice."

I looked up in horror written all over my face (not literally.) Jack took the note from my hand, read it, and he pulled my into a hug. This maybe the best hug anyway has ever gave me, in the end we were all on the floor in a group hug. I thought to myself, I have the best friends in the world, I wouldn't trade them no matter what. When we all decide to get up we head back to the car to try our phones to call 911. None of the phones were seemed to be working at the time. We tried and tried but no matter what they wouldn't work. As the sun began to set we all went back into lock down in the car again. In the same positioning as before me and Jack in the back back, and Kayla and Sammy in the middle. Kayla and Sammy are asleep and my thoughts drift off to what he say last night. I brought the topic up once again. "Jack, what'd you see last night?" He then responds very quietly in a slow but deep voice, sounding as if he is about to drift off to sleep, "I don't know exactly, but I thought I saw a women, with long dark hair, in a medium flowy white dress but something was different, her neck had rope marks and her wrists were cut up as she had committed suicide." BOOM the thunder roared making this 25x scarier.

I didn't know what to say or what to do, I closed my eyes and said, "I'm sorry you had to see that." He shook his head and began to hum that calming tune, causing me and him to drift off the sleep in each others arms.

Next day...
By the time morning came my stomache began to rumble. I look through the cooler we had since we always kept one in there I mean we're in Miami we never know when a beach trip will happen. I open it to find nothing but a few water bottles, I decided not to venture off to find food since everyone else was asleep. I step back into the car and lock everything back down and curl up next to Jack although I obviously wasn't gonna fall back asleep. He looks down at me and kisses my forehead giving me the tingles. God I cant be falling in love with him, and in this environment oh no.
