Chapter 35:/ Silence

Leviticus P.O.V

After last night I looked in the closet and feel on my bed welcoming sleep

I had a dream I was dead,but I could see everything.No one seemed to care but at the same time everything changed

I woke up in sweat but I didn't think further of it because that's all I remember

Currently eating at the table for breakfast well Devuri was doing more of the eating while I drank water and watched him in disgust "if your gonna watch me like I killed you're best friend,a picture last longer " 

I rather not take a picture,I'll burn it

I sat there until he finished eating "So what's your plan,as far as this mate thingy?" He asked me getting up from his seat and putting his plate away .Why would I tell him my beeswax anyway? He knows nothing which is how it should stay

"Maybe you don't get that silence is good and bad" He's now sitting across from me again

What the hell does that mean?

Again I don't answer but I get up and leave the room walking to the door,until he close it the moment I opened it "I need air"

"Air is everywhere"

"Fresh air"

"I need you to not do that..and sit dow

I ripped his arm from the knob and walked out,if course i wasn't going alone

Eventually I lost track of him but I don't know if he lost track of me,I came across a road and started walking down or up the road anyway I was walking

Nonone was around and Devuri did lose track of me so I enjoyed the air that excluded him

A car road pass but didn't stop,the third one did

"Hey you lady..what are you doing out here in the middle of nowhere ?" An old guy with a little county accent looked around and adjusted himself up

"Could you give me. a ride into town?"
That's what you say right?

He looked around once again before looking at me and the smile I placed on my face sending me one back "Yeah,get in"

Maybe this was it maybe I'll be done with the foolishness of wolves and head back home,be with family and friends

Sitting down in his truck felt wrong but I couldn't let that take away a good opportunity

"Thank you.." I said sitting down in the passenger seat

"Oh no problem,where are you from"

"Visiting friends but I uh, got lost"
That's was a true lie,he's gonna see right through me

He shook his head not long after moments of silence we pulled up at a town he was getting out to

"You shouldn't want to be out at night..you know the wolves out there are killers and they attach to people"

"Thank you" I said completely dissing his comment

"Bernie by the way..if you need anything else"

"Joel" another lie,my name has too much shit connected to it

He smiled and walked away

Weird.

I found a phone booth and dialed my mom number with a quarter I got from someone

"Hello.." She sounded

Busy?

"Mom.." I was gonna cry not of sadness,not only sadness but anger because I could hear keyboard typing and a T.V in the distance

"Mmm..uh what's that,who is this again?"

I gripped the phone tighter and held back the tears so hard that my chest hurt

"Fuck it..." And I hung up and cried out the little heart I had left

How could not remember me

"I told you..silence is good and bad"

I didn't turn around but I tried to suppress my tears,and unsteady breathing before I did until he holds me from behind and hugs me patting my head

"It's gonna be alright okay?"

I turned around and looked him in the face with tears coming down my eyes and  a pain in my chest

"HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT YOUR NOT ME YOU DON'T GET IT!" he pulled me into hug holding me tight and secure while I cried ",everything is not alright" i mumbled into his shirt while he held me,I could barely hear myself but he heard me

"Your a fucking warrior..."
