Clare walked up to the boy she saw on her first day of High school and his friend they had started to become more acquainted with each other. "Hey Gage, John I was wondering if I could sit with you guys at lunch." Clare asked expecting the worst to be a no. "Heck yea" they both said after looking at each other. "Great Thanks you guys are life savers." Clare responded with a large closed mouth smile. Gage smiles back "What do you mean." "Oh the stupid drama girls are at it again." Clare says with a voice lined with disgust "I see and you're more than welcome to hang with us." Gage smiled and gave her a reassuring look.
3 weeks later
Clare sat down at the lunch table almost in tears. "What's wrong" asked Hunter a boy who she had barley just meet. She handed him her phone as he read the text message from her past lover. "Well he's wrong, where dose he live I know how to hide a body" he gave her a smile and noticed that she was in tears. "Hunter what did you to her" Gage asked sternly "Wasn't I dude, here read this" Hunter passes the phone to Gage. "Clare are you going to believe him, cause he's wrong you need to keep living on because if you don't you just, gave him the satisfaction of winning." Gage states as he gives the phone back to Clare. "I just can't believe I loved him the way I did he is just a God Dam jerk, I thought he loved me guys are jerks." Clare states in tears "Do you need a hug." Gage gives her a small closed mouth smile. Clare thinks to herself 'Maybe he can help it might ease my pain' "Alright that could be nice" Clare smiles back and wipes away the salty tears. Gage and Clare stand up he grabbed her and brought her into his arms. The world stopped turning but just for that moment. For that slip second Clare felt like all of her worries had been lifted from her shoulders. She needed that hug more than she needed anything else that day.
