Devil pov

It's the week of homecoming and Juliet and I have become close. I still haven't told her who my parents are. I don't think we would be friends if I told her. There's something about her that drives me crazy. Like I want her to be with me but I don't want her to see the darkness inside me. the way she laughs is contagious and the way a smile spreads across her face is adorable. this girl is stealing my heart. i walked to the bus stop to see Juliet laughing at something she must have seen on facebook. Stella and kyle walked up to Juliet. i walked up to the three and Juliet smiled at me. "hey Devil." "hey." Stella and kyle tolerate me. They don't think Juliet should be friends with me.

Juliet pov

the four of us got on the bus and i sat next to devil. i really like him but i don't think he has any interest in me. He just sees me as a close friend. kyle and stella were sitting across from us being all lovey dovey. its gross. the twins aren't at school today which is odd. they have never missed a day of school in their lives. we got to the school and Kyle and Stella took off to go make out. devil walked me to my locker and leaned against the wall that's right next to my locker since i'm the end one. "so Juliet what are you doing after school?" "nothing." "do you wanna come over and work on that science project?" "uh sure." i closed my locker and we walked to class. A big boom sounded from across the school and shook the entire school. i screamed and fell to the ground.
      
I felt a body cover mine and I shifted to see devil covering me. Gun shots went off and people began screaming. Devil helped me up and pushed me. "RUN!!" Kyle and Stella came running and pulled me away from devil. "No we can't leave him!" " ju forget him we need to get out of here!" "No!" I turned and began running back to devil. Stella grabbed me and from a distance we watched devil get shot. A scream left me and I'm guessing my demon powers came out because the shooter was on the ground bleeding out. I went back to normal and crawled next to devil. "Please don't die. Please. I love you. " just then I noticed a half moon on the back of his neck. Like on mine.
