Chapter 2: The Date

3rd Person P.O.V

It was a week since Aphmau's tenth birthday. She was reading the book of famous knights Garroth gave her for her birthday when a letter from Garroth came. It was the details for their date!

Aphmau's P.O.V

Oh My Irene! I can't WAIT for my date with Garroth. We're going to the village of Phoenix Drop for a nice walk, dinner, then Garroth said he has a surprise for me! He's going to pick me up at the Falconclaw Docks TOMORROW!! I couldn't NOT tell anyone sooo, I told my very best girlfriend Kawaii~Chan and we jumped up and screamed for 10 solid minutes. I'm gonna wear my blue shorts and my favorite purple shirt that has 3/4 sleeves and a little trail behind it. For my hair, I'm thinking of wearing it down, with a purple bow. It's going to be so romantic! :3

Garroth's P.O.V 

I just sent a letter to Aphmau saying " Dear Aphmau, I was thinking that we could have our date at Phoenix Drop for a stroll around their beach, some dinner and then a surprise I wrote myself. Is that O.K with you? Please let me know as soon as possible. I'll pick you up  tomorrow night. See you then. Sincerely, Garroth of O'kasis" I'm going to wear some shorts, and a tee shirt with my jacket in case Aphmau gets cold. I'm exited and nervous. I hope Aphmau likes the surprise.

(The next day)

I'm REALLY nervous about this. But I go prepare the boat for Aph. 

(1 hour later)

I pick up Aphmau at the Docks like I said. She looks beautiful. So I say so. She giggled then said "Thanks. You look handsome." "Thanks. Make yourself at home. We'll be on the water for about 30 minutes to a hour." I say. "OK" Aphmau replies. 

(Another hour later)

Aphmau's P.O.V

We're finally here at Phoenix Drop and it's gorgeous. Garroth takes us to the diner and we have a nice talk, then we go walk along the beach for half a hour, then Garroth tells me it's time for my surprise. He takes us to a Cherry Tree on a hill, just us, and brings out a guitar. Then he sings a song he wrote for me. Now I'm SO in love! Wait Kawaii~Chan finds out!! :3

Garroth's P.O.V

After walking along the Phoenix Drop Beach, I tell Aphmau it's time for her surprise. I bring us to a Cherry Tree on a hill and pull out a guitar. Then I sing a song that I wrote just for Aphmau.

Based on the look of admiration on her face AND the fact that she freakin' KISSED me (I'm not complaining), I'd say she liked it.
