I wake up and the cloth on what I call sheets are on the floor. I remember it's the day of the reaping.I get my old ripped up bag and walk downstairs. My mom is still asleep on the old red couch so I do not wake her. I walk outside and make my way to the reaping. On my way I see a little blond haired boy selling bread at the bakery with his mom. I finally make my way to the reaping. I get a little shot (I think it gave me a microchip or something) it didn't hurt that bad. I walked in and stood in a row of people all ages. The announcer stands at the front "hello welcome to the 64th hunger games" says the announcer. A girl next to me whispers in my ear good luck. A boring video played about the hunger games."alright how about we pick." Says the announcer " let's start with the ladies." She reaches for a slip of paper and pulls out a name. "Hera Zieger." The girl standing next to me walked up on stage ready to cry. "Alright boys now" says the announcer. She pulls out a peice of paper Haymitch Abernathy.
