Catching up

I stand for a moment in the darkness of our wreck of a house, and then I finally break the silence. "Well mom, I think I'm going to go get some fresh air and.." "Okie Dokie sweetie! Have a good time! Hey, and try to meet some new people will ya? Sometimes I feel like you get lonely." My moms says. "Ok. Will do. Bye!" I say, practically running out of the house. When I close the door, I gasp a sigh of relief and I also do it the get the smell of the mildue out of my body. I start walking and I see some other houses, but one thing catches my eye. It's definitely not a house, and it's not a building that's really important either. In my mind, I say to myself "You're so dumb!" For there is a big sign on the front of the building, that says THE MELLARK BAKERY in big bold letters. I need to go to school again.
