CHAPTER SIX
Companionate Love (n) -
feelings of warmth towards a friend with whom you love to spend time.
I gasp and look up at her with wide eyes. I drop the photo and run into the kitchen. I get all of Sophia’s, photos and look at them. I grab the one with Luke and turn it over. Nothing. I turn the other three over and still nothing. I sigh and walk back into the lounge room. She looks at me and I shake my head.
“I couldn’t find anything on Sophia’s. I don’t know why, it’s weird.” I tell her and she sighs and looks up with bright eyes.
“Have you checked yours?” She asks me and I scoff.
“Why would I do that? I haven’t even looked at them yet.” I say to her thinking it’s impossible that the same thing could have happened to me.
“Where are they?” She asks and I point towards the kitchen bench. She walks straight past me to the kitchen bench and grabs the envelope with my name written on it. I walk to sit on the couch, sighing and turning on the T.V.
“You’re wasting your time Pammy.” I tell her and she shouts at me to shut up. I roll my eyes and turn towards the television flicking through the channels until I could find a good show. I chose Pretty Little Liars and started watching, it was one of my favourite episodes. About 10 mins past and I thought it was weird that Pammy was still in the kitchen. I pause the show and try to see if I can hear her doing anything. “Pammy are you okay?” I ask and I hear her whisper something back.
I get up and walk to the kitchen to find a wide eyed Pammy staring down at the photos. She looks up at me when I enter.
“How did you do it?” she asks me in disbelief.
“Do what? Take a good photo with all of them? Having a model as a best friend and house mate comes in handy.” I say to her laughing she just glares at me.
“I think you should come here and look at what I am talking about.” She says wiggling her finger. I groan and walk over to her and look at where she is pointing. In front of her are four photos and a piece of paper with writing on it. I turn to her and give her a weird look. All I see is four normal photos. I pick one up and turn it over and the back is clear, I do the same to the other three and still nothing. I look at her weirdly and she points towards the piece of paper. I pick it up and she nods at me to read.
Hey Ashley,
I know you’re probably really confused right now about all of this, but it’s just me thanking you for what happened at the concert. Thank you for making it memorable, Ashton will be talking about you for days. I also want to thank you for being the best fans we have. You are probably confused about what happened with me and why I was upset, I don’t blame you. I would do the same if one of the boys or even you were upset. Anyway lets’ get to the point. No one knows this yet but One Direction has asked us to tour with them in the UK, USA and of course Australia. But before we go I think it’s a necessity that we catch up. You are a great girl and I want to get to know you. Maybe you can help me through my thing… Anyways my contact number is down below just text me whenever.
Phone: **********
Thanks Cal x
I dropped the note completely frozen. After about 10 minutes of trying to get me out of this state, Pammy comes and pours a glass of water over my head. I look at her, water dripping down my face. There are a few minutes of silence between us and then I scream. Not because I just had a massive glass of water poured over my head because my favourite band member just gave me his number. After a few seconds Pammy joins in and we jump around the kitchen screaming. We were so loud and in our own world that we don’t hear Sophia come into the front door and walk into the kitchen standing there looking confused. A few minutes after Sophia entered the room I saw her and immediately stopped jumping.
