Chapter 5

Its been a few weeks. I haven't been going to well. I've broken down a couple of times, I attempted cutting but someone  usually stopped me before I did it. Its been hard. Not having Molly's singing waking me up in the morning it was that bad, but the sun would be up and we would laugh about it at lunch. or the food fights we would have when Molly attempted to cook but ended up getting pizza instead. Or the  water fights we would have when we were younger. Trying to wash the dog never went down right when we were doing it.

Today was Molly's funeral. It took a while to plan. I wouldn't co operate with the funeral planner or Liam or any of the boys for the matter. I stayed inside my room all day because I hadn't moved out yet. Now I am getting ready to go to the funeral. I know its going to be hard, but hopefully managed to keep calm.

I wrote a speech and I got Molly's closest friend Emma to write a speech as well. We decided while in one part I was listening to that Molly will be buried next to Mum and Dads graves. As I was putting the finishing touches to my hair I heard a knock at my bedroom door. Having a little peek through the door crack I noticed the chocolate brown buzz cut hair which happens to be my best friend Liam Payne. Opening the door wider  to my best friend I noticed him in a snazzy black pants with a white dress shirt and a nice black cardigan. looking down at his shoes I noticed they were black with lace ups.

Opening the door wider I saw the rest of the boys behind Liam and especially Harry who was obviously checking me out. I remembered telling them to put on the invitations that everyone had to wear their best because I  knew Molly would want a very beautiful funeral, which is exactly what we are giving her.

Looking at the boys I noticed they all had something different on. They looked nice. Liam being the first to speak said.

"You look beautiful Hazel," With a smile from him, I looked at the rest of the boys to see them nodding, top speed at me looking pretty speechless. I laughed. For the first time in a couple of months. I laughed. It wasn't a full hearted laugh but a little chuckle. I laughed harder when I realised their stunned face's because they heard me laugh.

Calming down I looked at all the boys and gestured my hand for them to lead the way. I felt a presence next to me and notice curly hair from my line of vision. Looking over I noticed Harry all ready looking at me then looking away, being caught staring. I could see a tinge of pink spreading through his cheeks like a wild fire. Laughing under my breath, I look over to see Harry smiling brightly at me.

"Y'know, you really look beautiful Hazel," He said. This time it was my turn to blush.

"Thank you." I said still trying to the hide the blush by looking down at my floor length black dress.

"Hazel? I looked over at Harry and answered him

"Are you ready?" e asked. I was confused as to what I am ready for. What am I ready for? Is it about being ready to take on the world or the funeral?

"Ready for what, Harry?" I inquired.

"Ready for the funeral and life by yourself...But I want top let you know that I will always be here for you no matter what." He finished.

I melted inside. I'm surprised that  not on the floor in a pool of mush. As we kept on walking I realised we were outside and just about to hop into the car. Taking a deep breath, I slide in to wait for the rest of the boys to hop in as they let me go first. One by one they all slide in and end up having Liam next to me.

Sitting here, I realised that the air was really tense and could sill feel the tension building. To brake the silence I started talking,.

"I wanted to thank you boys. For letting me move into your house and help plan the funeral, even though I was barley any help," I took a breath" I just wanted to say...thankyou"

It was silent for a little bit but them looking at the boys it faintly looked like they have tears in their eyes. I internally awed. It was so touching to know they care so much.

Looking out the window I noticed we were almost at the funeral. I start to become nervous. I wasn't sure if I was ready. Ready to face the fact the only family member I really had left, had died. Stopping at the curb we all climb out of the car. Me being last, I step out and look around. There wasn't many people out front. I could recognise some familiar faces. Looking around I noticed Molly's closest friend Emma, standing there looking like she was waiting for me to arrive. Looking up Emma notices me standing there and fast walks over to me.

Instantly she pulls me in a hug. A bear hug you may call that she has an extremely tight grip. After along time I've started to get used to them. Stepping away, she gives me a once over and stares at me in awe.

"Hazel...You look absolutely gorgeous. Where did you get that dress from?" She asks me in awe at the dress. Looking down I blush slightly before replying.

"Liam took me to a shop in London... Its beautiful isn't it?" Emma looks at me again before nodding viggoursly and giving me a genuine smile.  Shifting from side to side on my feet, Emma notices my uncomfortable posture and decides,we should go inside. We head to the door not sure what to expect because the boys were the ones who picked everything because I was most likely in my room hiding or not talking to anyone.

Getting to the doors we pull them and instantly gasp with what we find inside...
