Dear Mirror Me,
Ya know, a lot of the time I try to avoid you, especially when we're at school. I know I shouldn't, but I honestly hate seeing you. It's quite depressing to be honest. I prefer you whenever you don't wear your glasses, but what can you do about being half blind, huh? I hate seeing your eyes. They're a lovely colour, but the cross-eyed-ness just makes me feel horrible and self conscious. Plus, the fact that your hair is frizzy most of the time doesn't help matters. You have a nice smile though, your teeth are straight enough too, I guess...
But when you get dolled up, god! I love seeing you like that, it really makes me smile, because you are truely beautiful sometimes. I like how you look without your glasses, and you can always make me chuckle a bit when I wake up in the mornings to hair like the bride of Frankenstein! You don't suit make-up, that I have really noticed. Unless it's a natural foundation- Otherwise you honestly look like a tramp.
You have a great body, as bodies go I suppose... Thank god for a high metabolism!
Roisin, I love you, but if only we just looked like we wish we did, and not the way we do.. But this is the way we look, and I'm happy enough with the way we are.
