The agonizing sun awoke me from my sleep, it's rays escaping through the open window, and causing me to cover my eyes and groan in discomfort. I sighed and covered my face with a pillow, grunting slightly as I tried to fall back asleep.
Thoughts of food started to sneak into my mind causing my stomach to growl. Ugh... Why do I have to be so fat? I inwardly chuckled at the thought, reaching out for the side-table by my bed, and feeling around for my phone. As my fingers moved along the slick ebony colored wood,
a soft smile crept onto my lips as I felt the cold screen of the Galaxy S7 edge, my fingers clasped around it loosely before bringing it over with an exaggerated swing of my arm.
I tossed the pillow to a random corner of my room, a soft plop sound being heard not too long after as I turned my attention to the device in my hand.
I softly pressed the rectangular shaped button at the bottom, watching the black screen light up with color. A notification icon stood out from the rest; social media, YouTube, apps that need to be updated, ect.
No, this was an envelope shaped icon, showing that someone had sent a message. And the time next to it told me that it had been sent merely ten minutes earlier. I smiled and tapped it quickly.

Meet me at the park by the cemetery.
-Justin

I rose an eyebrow. No flirty emojis? No cute nickname? Hm... This was strange...
Strange indeed, you see... Justin was my boyfriend, but he was more of the jock type, where as, I was more of the emo type. It was weird to everyone who had met us, even I wondered how the hell we were dating. Anyways, he always sent the cutest messages when we spoke, never not including a heart emoji at the end of every greeting. So for him not to include something like that meant something was wrong.
I sighed and closed my eyes, placing my phone down on the black sheets and placing both of hands on either side of my face before wiping the sleep out of my eyes. I glanced at the window, admiring the large cherry blossom tree next to it, it's flowers starting to bloom. A few seconds later I shifted my body to be laying horizontally on the bed before casually rolling off of the bed, and hitting the ground with a thump. I giggled slightly at my actions before sighing at my idiocy.

I slowly walked to the     bathroom, a new pair of clothes in hand, all black of course. A quick glance at the mirror told me all that I needed to know. From the bedhead, to the wrinkled Batman shirt, and the dark circles under my eyes, I could tell that I looked like a mess, and I wasn't going to deny it. I set the clothes on the counter, leaning against it as I scrolled through my phone, looking for my playlists. I finally smiled when I noticed my punk rock playlist and tapped on the play button, sighing in joy when I heard the sweet lyrics of, "Voodoo" play throughout the room. Setting the phone down on the counter, I started to undress before turning the shower on and waiting for the water to warm up before stepping in.
I flinched slightly, murmuring a curse under my breath as the hot water scalded my skin, quickly going to turn it down slightly. This only resulted in it turning ice cold, causing me to sigh. Can't I do ANYTHING right?
After twenty minutes of singing along to the songs coming from my phone, I turned the shower off, stepping out and drying myself off before getting dressed.
I took my hairdryer and started to dry my medium length hair, grimacing from the hot air blowing onto my face. There should be an easier way... My hair started looking slightly wavy which made me sigh, knowing damn well that a scene fringe wasn't going to look okay wavy.
I plugged in my straightener, turning it on before going back to drying my hair as I waited for it to heat up. As my hair started to get "poofy", a soft sigh escaped my lips before I started to straighten it quickly and finally finishing with some hairspray.
I looked at my face and cringed before putting on some foundation and doing a quick cat eye with a bit of gray eye shadow.
I looked at my reflection, smiling at my slightly oversized MCR shirt and black ripped jeans. My white hair and pale skin contrasting with the outfit perfectly.
I looked at the time seeing that I had only spent about thirty minutes getting ready and that I was most likely on schedule.
I grabbed my phone, walking to the kitchen downstairs at a rather quick pace, arriving in a matter of seconds and grabbing a pop tart before slipping on my converse.
"Going somewhere?"
I groaned before looking back at my brother Jake who was leaning against the doorframe.
"Mphmphmm-"
I just then realized that I still had a pop tart in my mouth before using a free hand to take it out. Taking a quick bite beforehand.
"If you must know, yes. I am. Now stop being such a creep and go play some online  hentai game."
A soft laugh was heard as he started to walk upstairs. He stopped for a second, his black hair framing his face perfectly and green eyes glancing over at his younger sibling.
"Maybe I will, but first, remember sis, I don't like that Justin guy... He's going to hurt you one of these days..."
My eyes looked away from his, a slightly annoyed expression forming on my face as I walked to the front door, eating my pop tart.
"Shut up. You don't know anything..."
A soft sigh emitted from him as I slammed the door behind me.
"She never learns..."
