yaaaaaaaay louis has finally arrived hope you guys are liking this story
Just outside the bay making his way into Port Royal was Louis Tomlinson, the young pirate was standing on the mast of his boat looking towards his new destination. Louis looked down to the bottom of his boat noticing that it was slowly filling up with water, he then proceeded to jump down form his place above the boat and starts to bail the water out.
In his passing he saw three pirate skeletons hanging at the entrance to Port Royal with a wooden sign reading 'Pirates Ye Be Warned'. Louis stopped what he was doing to pay his respects to the unfortunate pirates.
Louis takes his place at the mast as his boat keeps sinking lower and lower. Upon reaching the docks Louis is able to stride off the boats mast and continue on his way. However, in passing he is stopped by the harbourmaster.
"What-hey. Hold up, there, you. It's a shilling to tie your boat up at the dock."
The harbourmaster and Louis both look towards the sunken boat.
"And I shall need to know your name."
Louis did not want to mention his name to anyone so he dug in his pocket for some money before dumping it on the mans book.
"What do you say to three shillings…...and we forget the name."
"Welcome to Port Royal, Mr Smith."
Louis smiles before walking away from the harbourmaster but as he past a table he noticed a pouch of money so he sneakily stuck out his hand and grabbed the pouch before continuing.
*Commodore Leeroy's Ceremony*
"Two paces march! Right about face! Present arms!"
The royal guards stood with their guns outstretched above their heads making a walkway for the soon to be Commodore. Leeroy made his way towards Governor Horan accepting his promotion and his new sword.
*The Docks of Port Royal*
As Louis is walking through the docks of Port Royal he notices a ship that comes to his fancy. As he makes his way towards the said ship he is noticed by two guards, Ed and Olly. Ed quickly runs forward blocking Louis from proceeding any further.
"This dock is off limits to civilians."
"I'm terribly sorry, I didn't know. If I see one, I shall inform you immediately."
Louis thinking he is free to continue walks forward only to be stopped once again in his tracks. He huffs.
"Apparently there's some sort of high toned and fancy to do up at the fort, eh? How could it be that two upstanding gentlemen such as yourselves did not merit an invitation?"
"Someone needs to make sure this dock stays off limits to civilians." Ed repeated thinking it was the easiest answer in the world.
"It's a fine goal to be sure but it seems to me that a ….." Louis slightly moved forward "a ship like that" pointing towards the Dauntless that was sitting lightly in the bay "makes this one here a bit superfluous really."
"Oh the Dauntless is the power in these waters, true enough, but there's no ship that can match the Interceptor speed."
Ed said with a grin on his face. Louis put his finger on his chin in deep thought for a moment before speaking once again.
"I've heard of one, supposed to really fast and eye un-catchable……..the Black Pearl."
Olly rolled his eyes at the mans statement not believing a word of it.
"Well there's no real ship that can match the Interceptor."
Ed looks to his colleague like he was stupid.
"The Black Pearl is a real ship."
"No, no it's not."
"Yes it is I've seen it."
"You've seen it?"
"Yes."
"You haven't seen it."
"Yes, I have."
"You've seen a ship with black sails, that's crewed by the damned and captained by a man so evil that Hell itself spat him back out?"
"No."
"No."
Olly looks to Louis thinking that he had won the argument. Louis smiled at him before Ed started off again trying to prove his point.
"But I have seen a ship with black sails."
Louis takes that as his cue to lowly slip away while the two guards are engrossed with their stupid argument. Olly scoffs at Ed's stupid statement.
"Oh, and no ship that’s crewed by the damned and captained by a man so evil that Hell itself spat him back out could possibly have black sails therefore couldn’t possibly be any other ship than the Black Pearl. Is that what you are saying?"
Ed smiles and nods his head.
"No."
"Like I said. There's no real ship that can match the interceptor.."
Both guards look back towards where the man was standing only to notice that he was no longer there. They looked around before noticing him at the wheel of the Interceptor.
"Hey! You! Get away from there!" Ed yelled as he made his way onto the ship.
"You don’t have permission to be aboard there mate." Olly said following closely behind.
Louis looked up innocently.
"I'm sorry it's just, it's such a pretty boat. Ship."
Ed moved closer towards the man curious to who he was.
"What's your name?"
"Smith. Or Smithy, if you like."
Olly didn't believe that that was the mans real name but continued on by asking him a question.
"What's your purpose in Port Royal, Mr Smith?"
"Yeh and no lies." Ed quickly put in.
"Well then, I confess. It is my intention to commandeer one of these ships, pick up a crew in Tortuga, raid, pillage, plunder and otherwise pilfer my weasely black guts out."
"I said no lies." Ed said again.
"I think he was telling the truth." Olly whispered to Ed.
"If he was telling the truth, he wouldn’t have told us." Ed said back.
Louis cut them off before they could start another round of bickering.
"Unless, of course, he knew you wouldn’t believe the truth even if it was told to you."
Ed and Olly looked back to 'Smith' and smiled before glaring at him.
*Commodore Leeroy's Ceremony*
Leeroy walked up to Niall slowly.
"May I have a moment?"
Niall nods weakly before following Leeroy onto the platform outside the Fort, taking short gasps of air trying to breath properly.
"Uh, you look lovely, Niall."
Niall takes a small gasp of air and laughs to himself softly allowing Leeroy to continue with his speech.
"I, uh, apologize if I seem forward, but I……I must speak my mind. This promotion throws into sharp relief that which I have not yet achieved. Uh…..a marriage to a fine man. You have become a fine man, Niall."
Niall looks to Leeroy shocked. He was struggling to breath with the damn undershirt taking away his much needed oxygen but he managed to speak.
"I can't breath."
Not noticing the state of which Niall is in Leeroy continues on.
"Yes, I-I'm a bit nervous myself."
Niall takes in one last breath before fainting and falling over the ledge of the platform into the water below.
