The Dare

Violet *P.O.V*

So far, I'm not enjoying this. Shaira is being a bitch. Oh wait. She is a bitch. She's trying to get Rica's attention. Shaira likes Rica but I think Rica doesn't feel the same way. Rica doesn't show any interest for Shaira. I feel bad for Shaira. She is so desperate.

"So Rica, you want to do something tomorrow night? We could have dinner and have a sleepover" Shaira asked Rica with hopeful eyes.

"I can't. Violet and I have plans." Rica said. "What? No we don't." I said taken aback. "Now we do." Rica glared at me.

Shaira's gonna hate me more.

"Violet's not interested. I could just take her place." Shaira tried to pursuade Rica.

"Sorrt. Can't change plans." Rica shrugged, apologizing.

I felt Shaira glaring at me. When I looked at her, she looked away and stood up. She went to the kitchen without a word.

I saw Angelo sitting with others in a circle. Since they're gathered together, they must playing something. Where's Aila though? She was here right?

Angelo *P.O.V*

We're playing truth or dare. I can't say no because I get to make out with someone. I still haven't got my turn yet though. I can't wait any longer. I haven't made out with someone since Aila left the party.

Finally! It's my turn.

"Truth or dare, dude?" Kurt asked
"Dare, bro." I said.
"Okay. Um. Oh, I know! Ask Violet on a date." He said looking proud with himself. "Okay. Who is this Violet?" I asked having no idea who this girl is.
"That blonde chick with Rica." Kurt pointed. "Okay then." I stood up and went to her.

"Hey, Violet?" I called for her.

She turned to face me and wow she's really attractive.

"Um.. Hi?" She looked at me warily then to Rica. Rica rolled her eyes and left us alone.

"You and me date on friday." I said flashing a smile at her.

She's really attractive. She has gorgeous green eyes. I'm a sucker for green eyes.

"No." She said as she stood up from her seat.

Wait! Did she just say no?!

"Hey, wait!" I followed her to the kitchen. "Would you go on a date with me?" I asked her trapping her. We're like an inch apart.

"I believe I said no." She said rolling her eyes.

"I believe I'm not taking a no for an answer." I said getting impatient.

"Look, I know it's a dare. I'm not going on a date with you." She said annoyed.

"That's the point, I have to do the dare. I have to ask you out on a date." I explained to her.

"You already did the dare." She pushed me away. What? I don't understand.

"If you must understand, the dare is to ask me out and you already did." She said putting her hand on her hips.

"You said no." I said with a baffled look.

"You have to ask me out. I don't have to accept. You just need to ask. Now, go back to your friends and say that you're done with the dare." She walked away from me.

I went back. Still confused as fuck.

"So what did she say?" Kurt asked.
"I don't even know, dude." I said shaking my head. "She's so confusing. I asked her though and apparently that's the only thing I have to do." I said explaining to him. "So she rejected you?" Kurt asked so shocked. I just nodded and drank the rest of the juice in my cup. "You had your first rejection huh?" Kurt chuckled.

Yeah. I just had. And I can't believe it.
