I have read some "Harry Potter goes back in time and changes everything" stories and I'm not impressed, while some are good, some are downright annoying and stupid. A lot of those stories are full of romance and angst, little mini heart attacks when something "different" happens or when something happens the same way and a lot fluffy things when he saw someone who is dead, while okay I can understand that but don't make a whole chapter of that or "bring Harry to tears" when we never saw or well read about Harry crying. Another thing that annoys me to no end are the 180 change in Harry, if you don't want anyone to get suspicious you start little by little, the shopping spree that Harry normally goes to or the friendship between Snape, Malfoy and him, all of those things annoys me to no end. My story doesn't have romance (seriously people you are writing romance with eleven years olds! Think about your children or little siblings, cousins, etc) or shopping spree, friendship with Goblins, Snape or Malfoy, more than one patronus or 5 different animagus form or something like that, no my story is going to somehow stay true to Harry's character, you know the whole "saving people thing" but I hope he is a little bit more mature than in canon. That is another thing my story is going to be true to canon from chapter one of PS/SS to the last chapter (no epilogue) of DH. Well with that say, let's get into the story.
