Gone

Janina's POV:
Oh my gosh I think I love this boy. We sat down and ordered our food. "You are amazing." I said. "So are you, I'm so glad-" Jacob was about to finish his sentence, but then all I heard was, "OMG JANINA YOUR HERE?" I immediately knew who it was, I looked over at Jacob with a sad look. I then opened my mouth, turned around and said, "Why are you here?!?!" "Didn't you get my 22 texts?" Carson said. I screamed back , "No why would I ever read your texts, you cheated on me!" He replied, "If you did you would've known that I was visiting Boston." Jacob's jaw dropped. "Wait you don't live here?" He said to me. I started to panic and I almost fainted, he wasn't supposed to find out I don't live here. Not yet. "Wait, you didn't tell him ha, what a loser." Carson said. I slapped Carson and looked over at Jacob. He got up from the table and walked over to the balcony.  "I guess he doesn't like you, well let's go to my place." Carson said with a smirk. "Just get away from me you've ruined everything as usual." I screamed at Carson as tears streamed down my cheeks. Carson walked away confused , and I ran to the opposite side of the balcony and balled my eyes out. I can't believe I thought this would work. I ran towards the door, but stopped to see if Jacob even noticed I left but he hadn't moved since he left me alone with Carson. I ran down the stairs with my mascara running down my face and ran outside the front door. I ran past the place where Jacob asked me out and out of no where it started raining. I ran down the side walk where Jacob gave me his sweatshirt. And I stopped and sat down on the steps where Jacob kissed me on my forehead before he dropped me off. I just broke down crying, I love him. I actually love him, and I ruined it all. Why did I mess up so much. "Janina, is that you?" Izzy yelled. I tried to mumble yes but instead more tears just rolled down my cheeks. Soon enough Camryn, Izzy, and Alyssa were huddled around me. I don't understand how they understood me while I was balling my eyes out getting soaked in the rain but they did. I love these guys.
Next morning
Janina💘😏- Jacob can we talk.
Janina💘😏- Jacob please listen to me.
Janina💘😏- Jacob please let me explain.

I was just about to give up on getting his attention but then my phone buzzed.

1 new text from Jacob😞
Jacob😞- Why should I let you explain, you didn't trust me why should I trust you and think you're telling me the truth.
Janina💘😏- Jacob please.
Jacob😞- Fine explain.
Janina💘😏- Can we actually meet in person.
Jacob😞- Meet me at the park in 10.

I ran outside not realizing how bad I looked with my runny mascara and messy outfit from last night.

But I didn't care, I needed him back in my life one last time before I left.
Jacob's POV:
I saw her run in. Her hair was in a messy ponytail and she looked like she's been crying all night. But she still looked beautiful in my eyes. Jacob she lied to you, get that though your head. I wanted to comfort her so badly, but she deserved to be hurting for how she hurt me. "Jacob I'm so sorry, I just didn't-" she ran into my arms and cried I just couldn't push her away. I hugged her so tight. "I just didn't know how to tell you," she cried "I didn't want this to end badly with you forgetting about me." "I will never forget about you Janina." I whispered as she slowed her crying. "What about when I'm gone." She asked quietly. "You'll always be in my mind." I responded. We just sat there hugging for what seemed like hours. "I have to go on the bus back to New Jersey soon..." She said starting to sniffle again. "Before you go I wanted to give you the gift I wanted to give you last night before everything crashed down on us." I said. I pulled out a necklace from my pocket.
Janina's POV:
He pulled out a necklace from his pocket. It was a small gold heart necklace with     J+J engraved in the back of it.

I started to tear up as he reached around my neck to put the necklace on me. "I love you Janina." He said. "I love you too Jacob." I looked at him as I said my last word. He leaned in and kissed me. Fireworks, I felt fireworks. This boy was made for me. We separated lips, and he looked at me one last time before I turned around and said "Goodbye Jacob" and then ran home. I crashed into my bed and balled my eyes out as I packed my clothes. I threw on Jacob's sweatshirt and hugged it tight and I grabbed my bag and my phone and headed outside towards the bus stop with my friends. And as we got there the bus seemed like it was waiting for me so I stepped up onto it, but as I did I saw Jacob in the corner of my eye sitting in the park with his head in his hands. I walked into my seat, without my friends because I needed a moment alone. I opened up my music and played "Let her go" by the passenger and fiddled with my necklace as I cried. It's not a goodbye, it's just a see you later a very hard see you later.
Jacob's POV:
I couldn't believe she was leaving, she was here one second then gone the next. I saw her board the bus, and I dropped my head in my hands. I love this girl, I can't believe I let her go. I pulled out my phone and played "Let her go" and she was gone.
