"Caitlyn, you home?" Raina called at her very best friend. They hadn't been friends for long, only about three years, but sometimes people can be there only three days and have better intentions and potential than people who have been there your whole life. "RAINA BABYYYY WHY DIDNT YOU CALL I DIDNT KNOW YOU WERE COMING HOWD YOU GET IN?!?!" This one's a keeper, Raina thought to herself as she looked at Caitlyn in nothing but confusion as she stood, handcuffed to her bedpost. "I have a key. Care to explain what happened here? Bad one night stand?" Raina asked, examining Caitlyn's current situation. "I thought I had the key. My sister asked if I wanted to have lunch. I told her I was tied down and I didn't want to lie," Caitlyn muttered innocently. Raina fouht the urge to laugh as she looked for a way to get this wack job out of the cuffs. She had a feeling this wouldn't be the last time. Raina was only 15 and Caitlyn was 17, but they got along great nonetheless. It was summer break and they were ready to go to the beach together. Raina was young, but she had her learner's and nobody ever said anything when she drove, so she decided to keep on until someone did say something. "Woah, Sunny, what's on your arm there?" Caitlyn asked, gesturing to a bruise on Raina's arm. Sunny was a nickname Caitlyn had for Raina in contradictory to her name. "Now that was a bad one night stand." Raina lied. She laughed and as did Caitlyn. She didn't dare tell her what happened in her happy home, no matter how close they were. "Ooooh always thought you were a goodie goodie," Caitlyn slurred purposely. "I fell off the trampoline," Raina giggled, lying again, still trying to free Caitlyn. "Hey, Sunshine, can you pick a lock with a hairpin?" Raina rolled her eyes. Of course. She walked over to Caitlyn's baby pink makeup table that matched her floral walls. Raina had helped her hang the wallpaper the summer before and painted the vanity a few months ago. "Where's your mom, Cait?" Raina wondered. "She finally got a job Sunny!!" Caitlyn exclaimed as Raina picked the lock on the cuffs. Finally, she finally got a job, Raina thought. "That's great!" Raina yelled as she got the lock free and pulled Caitlyn into a tight hug. Caitlyn's mom hadn't been able to find a job since her dad left a couple months ago. Cait had lived here her whole life and the landlord said it would be fine for a few months. He was a sweet old man, despite his good fortune in money. Most rich old men were bitter, but not Mr. Acrov. Raina and Caitlyn used to clean his yard for money, till Raina got a new real job. He still gave them a couple extra bucks when they needed it. "What are you all dressed up for?" Caitlyn asked, gesturing to Raina's outfit. A white crop top with anime Superman printed on it in baby colors, soft pink substituting red and baby blue substituting the dark blue, baby blue high waisted shorts, and light pink hi-top converse. Blonde hair in a messy bun and a black choker with the 'yin' part of the yin yang, along with a few bracelets, light pink gauges in her first lobe holes and in her second holes, she had baby blue roses. "You'll see when we get in the car," Raina said nonchalantly, looking at Caitlyn, still in plaid pajama shorts and a solid tank top to match. "Pack your bags for two weeks. And don't get dressed. I'll be back in 30 minutes. I'm getting your favorite from Hardee's. Pack for warm weather," Raina said, like it was some sort of huge surprise. "Alright," was all Caitlyn said. She was still wondering what really happened to Raina's arm.

She packed for two weeks, warm as Raina instructed, whish consisted of 20 outfits, and 15 sets of pajamas. Just as She was zipping up her bag and about to move on to the bathroom, Raina pulled back into her yard on the black dodge charger that Raina had paid for herself about a month ago. She had been saving since the day she and Caitlyn had met, and Caitlyn had never been more proud in her life. She ran to the stairs and halfway down to meet Raina, who was already halfway up the stairs. Raina was only 5'3 and Caitlyn was 5'6, but Raina had always been faster. Always. "Hello, my strawberry-ice-cream-cotton-candy-lip-gloss-cherry-pie. How's the packing coming along?" Raina asked, grabbing Caitlyn's hand. "Just fine, my bubble-gum-blunt-wrap. I was just moving on to the bathroom stuff," Caitlyn said, nonchalantly, still in her pjs, as Raina instructed. "I got you a new toothbrush, toothpaste, a razor, breakfast, and shampoo and conditioner. I assembled it all last night, except breakfast. Come on our food's getting cold," Raina smiled. Caitlyn grabbed her makeup bag and suitcase and ran downstairs. She opened Raina's trunk and shoved her pink suitcase in with Raina's matching one. They bought the same one, so in order to keep them separate, Caitlyn wrote best in blue glitter glue and Raina wrote friends on hers from the same tube.

Caitlyn jumped in the front seat to see an outfit sitting on the dash. It was a white crop top with an anime Batman, light charcoal grey substituting the black and light yellow substituting the neon yellow, light yellow shorts, and light charcoal grey converse. Raina got in and tossed a bag at Caitlyn, and she immediately studied the contents. Light yellow rose earrings, the 'yang' part on a black choker, and almost identical bracelets. "You can get dressed in the car," Raina said, as She pulled out of the driveway. Caitlyn began to strip and put on the new clothes. "Where did you get all the money for this stuff?" Caitlyn asked, baffled. "I got a raise," Raina said, a huge grin on her face as She pulled down her black sunglasses. "Ohmygod! Really?!" Caitlyn said, genuinely happy for her best friend. She couldn't believe it. "Also, great tips and Kimberly and Chaz quit, and I got to take over both their shifts," Raina said, smiling hugely. "So where are we going?" Caitlyn asked, giggling as she got dressed.
