Lizzie walked onto the camp grounds, she groaned seeing all the middle schoolers running around. She slung her small Nike duffle bag farther up on her shoulder. She walked up to the check in table, waiting behind a interrogative parent.

"well, sorry to tell you this, but should've searched this up before you enrolled ya kid." the Blonde boy said giving them a bored stare.

Once it was her turn, she leaned on the table tired from just standing. "where do the counselors sign in?" she asked her eyeing the papers on the table.

"well, hello." he said going to lean on the table but missed it and fell to the ground papers going everywhere.

Lizzie started laughing, "are you okay?"

He stood up and brushed off his jeans, "umm yea, I'm fine."

They both bent down to pick up the papers but they bumped heads. "Ow!" They said in unison. "Sorry," they both also said again trying to laugh it off.

They gathered all the papers and set them on the table. "Um hi, I'm Lizzie," she said.

"I'm Joel," he said as he went to give her a hug but she went for hand shake. They then changed and he went for hand shake and she went for the hug. They finally just gave each other an awkward high five.

"Well umm do you happen to know where I sign in?" She asked.

Joel fumbled around a bit, "oh yea.. Yea, here," he said handing her the paper.

She quickly wrote her name and grabbed all her information papers. She smiled and waved to Joel as she went to drop her stuff off at her cabin.

Joel sat on the boat dock and ran his hand through his bleach blonde hair.
"I just make a fool of myself." He whispered under his breath.

He pushed himself off the ground patting away the dirt. He started towards the counselors cabins he saw a group of girls giggling about him. He smiled waving their way. And heading over to them.

"Hiii," one said tossing her hair over her shoulder.

Joel smiled and nodded his head signaling 'sup' as he saw Lizzie near at the back of the group of girls. "Hey you," he said as she made her way up to him.

"Hi," she smiled. "Feels good to see a familiar face,"

"Wanna be familiar in other places?" He asked wiggling his brows.

All the girls around then giggled.
"What?" She asked confused

"It was..uh...never mind see you at lunch." Joel sighed growing a bright red, walking back toward the cabins to grab the assignment to start giving them to the counselors.
