Lizzie walked into the counselor's office towards the clinic two of her campers behind them. Joel walked out his office, he smiled.

"Hey Lizzie" Joel said stopping in front of her.

"These campers and some of the other got some of that stuff and now these girls are sick from it." Lizzie sighed.

"That stuff" Joel questioned.

"Yea, ya know, that stuff," Lizzie said.

"Oh yea yea of course, that...that stuff," he said still not sure off what she was talking about.

"But will I see you later for the counselor bonfire?" Lizzie asked making her way passed Joel.

"Oh yea definitely," he smiled rubbing the back of his neck.

"Umm.. And save a spot for me, I know your popular and all but, for me?" She grinned with a wink. Joel smiled back with a nod.

Joel waved goodbye as he tripped over his shoe lace. But all Lizzie heard was an "Ow!"

"Good job!" Lizzie said loudly not looking back and not stop walking.

Joel sat bits away from the camp fire. One of counselors rushed over sitting next to him.

"Hi joel." She giggled batting her eyelashes and twirling her hair around her finger.

"Hey heather." Joel sighed crossing his arms.

Heather threw herself onto him.
"Did you miss me?" She asked trying to be seductive.

"Heather, I thought I told you it was a one time thing, I was young and foolish, you were young and foolish." Joel said pushing her off.

Heather huffed and stomped off.

"What's got her panties in a twist?" Lizzie laughed dropping in the spot next to Joel.

"Me." Joel replied

"Wait no, not like literally. But... You know I'm her....well...you see...um..we were young and foolish..." Joel rambled

"I get it, someone couldn't keep it in their pants and now they're in trouble." Lizzie laughed at how red she knew Joel's cheeks were.

"Yea something like that," Joel said nervous.

Lizzie smiled, "I'm really glad I made a friend like you," she said. The words she said stuck with her and Joel there was a chance she just friend zoned him.

"I mean like, yea," she sigh. Joel just sat there awkwardly.

Lizzie didn't really know what to say until Joel broke the silence. "There a chance I can get your number?" He asked looking at her bright blue eyes.

"Yea," she nodded her head as they took out there phones and exchanged numbers.

She giggle at his slide phone.

"This is cute I had one of these in like 6th grade." She laughed

"Yeah well my iPhone fell in the water with me so I need to change it quick so I don't miss any calls." Joel sighed missing his iPhone.

"Oh well. I'm sure a strong guy like you will get by." She laughed squeezing his bicep.

She was surprised at how muscular he was, he wasn't a body builder or anything but he was stronger than he looked. "Damn," Lizzie said under her breath.

"What?" Joel said confused.

"Nothing nothing," Lizzie said her cheeks bright red.

"But now I want to know." Joel whined like a little kid.

"Its I just didn't think you were that strong." Lizzie shrugged.

"I'll have you know I can do 59 pushups straight, nonstop." Joel pouted crossing his arms.

"Really?" Lizzie smiled at him.

"Yeah, I'm a strong man." He laughed showing off his muscles.

"Oh is that what you call it," Lizzie giggled.

"Yup," Joel said confidently. "But it's getting late and we have a lot of work to do tomorrow," he told her.

"I know... Will you, walk me to my cabin?" She asked.

"Of course," he said giving her a hand up as they headed to her cabin.
