So you wanna know where the idea of Alchemi came from? Well, it came from the time my science teacher allowed us to eat during his discussion about energy, motion blahblah. I did exactly that and ate my sandwhich while reading Bands of Mourning by Brandon_Sanderson (yes, I was only half listening) . I suddenly had the idea: ' Hey! What if I incorporate energy into a magic system?' That's where it all started and I got major idea dumps from different things in my life.
Dump 1: Disneyland
My Ipad: Come play Ingress
Me:*opens the app and is like... * OMFG! This place is like high on energy! I can catch a million portals here.
Magic system: "The transfer of energy is through God Particles which bring the energy from a different realm"
Dump 2:Mind Museum.
Me: *thinks: Dinosaur..... Trassic age Trescek
Dump 3: The peranakan museum
Hmm, I can twist this erm twist this idea *notes it down*
