Just a pre warning, Elle's second name is McCann but she has no connection with Jason McCann and Alex McCann.

Other than that, enjoy this chapter of my new book!

"Elle you need something a little less...exposing for this party dear. You look like a prostitute." My mom sighs. I jolt my body up from slipping on my black heals and glare at her.

"And you look like grandma." I sass her out.

"Good one. But seriously, don't you want a pair of tights of something? A cardigan at the least?" She sighs and leans against my door frame.

"No mother, I don't need a cardigan and tights, I think I look mature and my age." I nod and murmur quietly, "And you look like twice your age."

"What was that, Elle?" She giggles quietly and pretends to be hurt.

"Nothing, you look beautiful mom," I smile and wrap my arms around her waist.

"Thank you, baby girl," She smiles and comforts me. Her hair was pulled back into a curled bun and her body was dressed in a gorgeous, floral dress which showed of her curves perfectly. "So we should get going, we can't be late. Again." She laughs and we walk downstairs.

"Lucas! Come on, we're leaving!" I shout upstairs.

"I'm coming Elle, shut up!" Lucas shouts and runs downstairs.

We climb into the cab and head to the venue. We were going to a wedding. It was my moms friends wedding and she had been planning it for 4 years now.

"Guys!" I smile and pose for a snap chat photo. My mom poses as a duck face with the peace sign and I take it in mid laughter and Lucas just smiles.

"Oh dear," She laughs and gets out her phone also.

"Selfie." She smiles and wraps her arm around our shoulders, squeezes and she clicks the screen. She looks at the photo and absorbs it.

"Guys, you both look so grown up," Her eyes sparkle and she smiles, teary-eyed.

"Thank you mom." I smile. My brown hair was curled and my make up was smokey eyed. My dress was sparkly, black and a slim fit. It was short but not extremely short as my mom emphasised.

"Thanks mom," Lucas nods and adjusts his tux.

We arrive after 10 minutes in the cab and walk to our ushered table.

I sat with my mom and Lucas on either side of me.

"Oh my gosh Elle!" A high pitched voice is let out from the opposite of the table.

"Molly!" I smile at the blond haired girl sat across from me. We both get up and hug each other. She was my best friend and had been since the third grade. I loved her so much.

She was amazing, any girl somebody could wish for. We once braided each others hair together, I though it was cliché but she loved it.

"Well?" I smile with my hands still on her shoulders, "How have you been!"

Molly moved to a different town with her mom on business so I kinda lost her.
