~ Liza's Point of view ~

I began to walk around my dressing room, searching for a decent dress to wear for tonight. After 1 hour I finally found something which suited my taste.

It was a long dark blue gown, which had some black lace designs around the waist and although it looked quite breezy it looked so comfortable to wear in. So since I thought that it looked good enough for tonight's dinner with a guy my grandfather says I've already met, I chose to wear the dress.

When my grandfather had told me last week that he arranged me to have dinner with the guy I've tried searching for, who was Andrew Lacoste's first grandson.

I couldn't explain the way I began to feel... Everything that was happening, I guess, was just going too fast for me to catch up. It just made me incredibly curious how my grandfather was able to find him, especially since Andrew Lacoste is so old already and obviously there's like hundreds of people in the Philippines who have the same name to Mr. Lacoste as well as, how would he even know who is his first grandson? After all these years.

Once I was done getting changed into the beautiful blue gown, I looked at myself in the mirror and saw how beautiful the way I looked. However what sadden's me was that some people don't actually care about my personality and who I am on the inside, but instead, some people only care about my appearance and my high-end social life.

I decided not to think about that anymore, once I realized that this probably isn't the right time talking about sad things. Especially since today was the day, that I have been waiting for even though I was always busy in school.

I grabbed my black Michael Kors bag, then began to walk out of my bedroom and headed downstairs to meet my grandfather where he was waiting for me.

When I saw that my grandfather was sitting down on the couch reading a newspaper, I couldn't help myself but begin to smile. Since until now, he still wears a suit even if he's just at home.

"Grandfather I'm all ready to go now," I said happily, and not really showing the fact that I was nervous and scared about meeting this guy. That my grandfather seems to say I've already known.

When my grandfather noticed me, walk into the lounge. He then placed his newspaper on the tea table and looked up and down at me, examining the way I looked and then smiled.

"Elizabeth, look at yourself. Your growing up so quickly." He told me. I just smiled at him not really sure about what to reply.

"By the way Elizabeth, unfortunately, I won't be able to come with you to meet him." My grandfather said. I looked at him sadly, since he wouldn't be able to come with me and meet this guy. But then again I just smiled at him, still unsure why my grandfather won't be able to be coming with me.

"Is there a problem grandfather?" I asked him. He just gave me a slight smile and shook his head at me.

"I'm alright Elizabeth, don't worry about me. I'm just feeling a little under the weather. And please Elizabeth stop calling me grandfather, it sounds way too formal. Just call me lolo, I miss being called grandfather in Filipino." He said. I smiled at my grandfather, especially since he wanted me to call him lolo.

"Okay lolo but are you sure, your alright? I can stay home if you need somebody to look after you. " I said. My grandfather just began laughing at me and so, I gave him a weird look.

"I told you, Elizabeth, I'm alright. I think you should get going, you don't want to be late and we wouldn't want to keep the guy waiting now he's probably a very busy person." My grandfather reminded. I smiled at him and then began walking out the door.
