Camp;Day 2- Campfire Preparation & Activities.

Early the next morning, Meghan woke up around 6.15am, thanks to the clock on the wall that randomly fell off the wall. She got up and took a peek outside. It was quite dark and there was not a soul in sight. She closed the door and went to prepare her clothes.

"I wish i had my phone.." she sighed. She then remembered that she brought a sketch/diary along. She dug into her bag and pulled it out. It was a purple satin book, that said "Game On" in pink bubble letters. Marzia got it for her on her 15th birthday.

She opened it and started penning down her thoughts, like she was texting.

I fell down and got a huge gash on my arm. I know, amazing way to start off this entry, huh? During some night walk, i was talking and i tripped and fell. Wooo, amazing right? And now, it's like 6.35am and I'm up thanks to the dumb clock falling off the wall. I just wanna go home...:(

She laid down on her bed when she looked over at the clock. 6.45am. She should shower and change. She showered and changed into 3 quarter black pants and a light blue shirt that said, "Game over" in pink bubble letters. She got it from Gamefest. Madison started to stirr.

"Ughhh Morningg" she mumbled.

"Morning!"

"Ugh...what time isittt"

"7am."

Madison shot up. "What!? I only have 1 hour! Oh no!" and she quickly got up and dug through her bag frantically. Meghan put her bandage around her wound whic still looked horrible. Around 7.45, they were ready. But did not want to leave. Meghan peeked outside her door and saw some students gathering at the cafeteria already.

"Let's go at 7.55." Madison said with a mischievous grin. They waited until it was time then they made their way out. Keith was taking the attenedance and when he saw them, he looked relived.

"There you are! Now we have everyone." and he walked away. Meghan caught sight of, you guessed it, Ruben. He was wearing a grey shirt with 3 quarter pants as well. He had not noticed Meghan yet. She went to take her seat, at her usual place, the top of the table with Madison next to her.

"GOOD MORNING WEST EAGLE!! Ready for another day!!?!?" instructor shay screamed. A chorus of whoops and cheers filled the hall. Meghan and Madison groaned, causing their classmates to look at them. They went to take their food. As Meghan was trying to get up, someone accidentally brushed against her injured arm.

She yelped in pain. "Fishhhhhh!" she cried as she held her arm like a injured puppy.

"Hey. You okay?" someone asked behind her. It was Ruben.

"Yeah yeah. Just sharp pain. Nothing to worry about." she waved it off.

Ruben looked at her with a worried look on his face. She went to get her food. They were having some sandwiches and fruits and hot milo. She made her way back with her plate as they started eating. While they were eating, Keith, their instructor, read out their schedule for the day.

"From 12pm to 3pm, we will be doing our raft building.

From 3pm to 4pm, we will let you wash up and have a light snack.

From 4pm to 5.30pm, we will be having our campfire preparation.

From 5.30pm to 6.15pm, you can wash up or shower. But its better to wash up since we are going to have our campfire. You can shower after it.

From 7.00pm to 7.30pm, we have our last minute preparation for the campfire then From 7.30pm to 9pm, we have our campfire. Got it?"

They nodded. After they ate, they went to gather their stuff from their rooms and make their way to the bus. As Madison was unlocking the door, Meghan happened to peek through a small tear on the barrier between her and the boys. One thing she saw was there was A LOT of garbage and shoes. And it really smelled. At that point, a boy lifted up his shirt. She quickly jerked back.
