A small girl, no older than 9 ran into the living room, a cute but mature back pack on her shoulders and her school uniform neat and pressed, the most dazzling thing about her though, was the white hair she had, it was in a french braid and even then it reached her mid back. Her eyes shining a brillaint blue. It was Amora, the girl was growing up fast and she was becoming a beautiful girl, inside and out. "Can we go now, I want to get to school, please," she whined and jumped like a fish out of water and pulled on the black coat of her mum's.

"Yes, yes Amora! Let's go! I'll race you to the car," and with that Amora sprinted like there was dog on her tail, Michelle turned to William to kiss his cheek and say goodbye.

"She's ok right? I mean her hair, the school phoned up that she was getting bullied and that they were taking every action they could to stop it," William questioned quietly with a sad look in his eyes.

"I'm sure she'll tell us if she's upset William, I'll talk to her, goodbye," an with that Michelle flipped a switch and laughed and smiled at her daughter, opening the car door on her side as little Amora did the same.

"I win!" she stuck her tongue out playfully before

"You sure did Amora," and with that Michelle put her foot on the peddle and took her through the Streets of London to her school.

-

"Amora, no one's hurting you are they? Or saying horrible things?" Michelle brought up the conversation and loooked at Amora before keeping her eyes back on the road.

The white haired girl lowered her head and fiddled with her fingers in her lap. "Sometimes, some of the boys think I'm really weird and that I shouldn't have it, they don't hit me though, just call me weird, no girls say it though! Just the group of popular boys who think their all special," she crossed her arms and sighed. It was true but no on else did, everyone liked it and loved how long it was too, some girls liked to plat it at break whilst some liked to just look at it and wish they had cool hair like hers. Amora blushed at the thoguhts of her friends, especially when they told the boys to leave her alone when they came over. It also didn't happen everyday just once or twice a week.

"Well, be good today, I love you!"  Michelle called as Amora stepped out of the car and waved her off.

"Love you too mum!" Amora turned on her heel and headed into school, joining her group of friends on the playground for a few minutes before they had to head into class for maths.

-

"Man maths is so boring and hard and the teacher too, she's so annoying, jsut droning on and on about it, how are we supposed to learn if she doesn't even try!" a boy, called Micheal moaned as he headed onto the playground, sitting on 'their' bench like every break, they were year 5 and it was the month of November, Amora wold be 10 on the 20th making her the eldest girl out of her group.

"Maybe it's just boring because you're too dumb to understand it?" Amora's friend Emily giggled as she walked out the door and past them, Amora and the others chuckling at their not-at-all shy friend.

"Nice one Emily!" A second girl, Skylar high-fived her before seating themselves in the corner of the playground, where a small table was and small tree trunsk acted as seats. The 5 settled down with Amora next to Emily and Skyler, and Tilly next to Skylar and Aimee next to Tilly. Break was 20 minutes long and it gave the girls enough time to tog to the toilet, refill drinks and talk about whatever random things popped into each of their heads. Amora smiled at everyone, she felt so nice and included and she almost forgot about her hair for the rest of break and through english. Almost.

Micheal walked out again and stared the five down. "What did you say about me Emily!?" he said as he walked over to them, they had finished their lunch so they were allowed outside, Micheal obviously trying to act big in front of the others, Oscar, Lewis, David and John.

"Nothing why? Feeling upset? Sorry did I hurt you?" Emily was very sarcastic and Amora picked up on it at times especially when she found herself worried or slightly in a muddle. The rest of them stared them down Amora's crystal blue eyes included and icheal looked at her.

"Hey look! It's Amora with her white weird hair, she's not even normal, people don't ave that coloured hair unless their old!" he laughed at Amora and Tilly sighed. "Go away Micheal, no one cares about your opinion," Tilly stuck her tongue out in a childish way and so did the others, Amora's glare hardening as she stared him down.

"Yeah, leave me alone, at least I'm different and have actual friends who aren't sheep," Amora said and Micheal ran after her, she jumped up and ran off into the bundle of kids on the playground, laughing. "You can't catch me, nananananaaa," Amora was about to turn before Micheal appeared in front of her and grabbed her plat.
"Let go!" she screamed and a strange white light appeared from her hair, making a soft sizzling noise as it came in contact with his hand, it hurt and her started crying, attemtping to cover the tears, then he saw her eyes and ran.

"Hey nice going Amora, what did you do?" Aimee asked as she hugged the girl and touched the normal white hair, it did nothing. The rest of the 3 following and smiling.

"I don't know guess I stepped on his foot or something, or he got hit by the other kids," Amora's brows furrowed in confusion, she saw the light from her hair and saw his red hand but what was it. Smiling Amora put it at the back of her head and waved at her friends.

"Come on I'll race you to class!" and so they did, giggling and running.

-

"How was school today honey?" Michelle asked as she climbed into the car and drove home.

"Mummy it was weird, Micheal grabbed my hair and all of a sudden it went BOOM! There was white light everywhere, his hand was red a-an-and he looked at me and ran away! It was weeeiiird, I didn't do anything on purpose I promise!" Amora babbled like the speed of lightning and soon they were home.

Climbing out of the car Amora ran to her room and took out her hair leaving Michelle and William to talk. "William, we should tell her, she turns 10 in a week, 10 years! We have kept it from her but she's more mature than we have ever known," Michelle had explained to William what Amora told her and he stood their in the kitchen gripping the edge of the sides until his knuckles went white.

"Michelle, we'll tell her, but soon, very soon," William was worried his daughter would be taken away from him, his little girl, and to find out she had light coming out of here made it even worst. Finding her in a basket, everytime she cried silver tears, it was strange and confusion had always been in the back of both their minds. "I have some connections, I'll ask about,"
