You haven't seen Toby in 5 months and you both decide to skype that night to finally see each other.
*Skype*
"Hi Toby :)"
"Hey babe how are you?"
"Good good...." You tell him with a small smile trying not to cry in front of him because you know this is his dream and you can't be the one preventing him from living it.
"Babe what's wrong?" He asks you not believing the smile.
"Nothing I'm fine..."
"Pauline don't lie to me." He says and you sigh.
"I just....I just really miss you." You tell him letting a tear escape.
"I miss you too babe. I count down everyday until I get to see you again. I just want to hold you in my arms." He tells you and more tears escape.
"How much time until I see you again?" You ask followed by quiet sobs.
"We uh..." He started choking back a sob. "We come back in 2 months..." He finally said and you nodded.
"Well I..uh..I have to go." You tell him wipping away your tears.
"I...uh..ok... I love you Pauline." He tells you also wipping away some of his tears.
" I love you too Toby." You answer him.
"Stay beautiful." He tells you with a small smile before ending the call.
You go take a shower and get ready for bed. That night you cried yourself to sleep. Around 1am you hear something hit against your window. You walk towards it and look out but you see nothing but two candels set in the middle of your lawn. You put on a sweater and head outside. You walked to the candels and find a note attached to them.
" Roses are Red,
Violets are blue,
You should come see me because
I MISS YOU -xxx-
Ps: Go to your favorite place in the whole world! "
You headed for the small lake not far from you house and found 2 other candels.
"I'm glad you came :) Now turn around. -xxx-"
You did as you were told and saw what you never though you would in a long time. There stood Toby with his guitar in hand and a goofy smile. You stood there shocked not really knowing if you were dreaming and pinched yourself.
"Don't worry baby this is real." He said taking a step forward and the other guys came out from the woods to join him. "This is for you." He said placing his capo on the guitar.
"Connor? Riley?" You asked and they both smiled and nodded.
They all then started to sing Soldier, Toby taking all the lead parts and walking closer to you everytime.
"I'll be your Soldier." He whispered once he was only a few inches away from you.
He then wipped away a few tears that you didn't know you had and leaned in.
"I missed you so much Pauline."
"I missed you too Toby." You say grabbing his face and crashing your lips to his.
The kiss was soft but filled with so much emotion. You then both pulled appart and stared into each others eyes.
"I thought you weren't coming back for 2 months." You stated and he chuckled lightly.
"We weren't but I convinced the boys to come see you and get this." He said taking something out of his pocket.
Your eyes widden and you kiss him again.
"Really?" You ask and he nods.
"I want to be able to have you by my side all the time and we won't have to miss each other like this." He tells you.
"I love you so much Toby!" You say.
"I love you too Pauline." He responds and you both kiss again.
