Wanted

Chapter 2

Kenna P.O.V.

As I walked inside Brooke's house, a cold sensation made me shiver, randomly.

"Oh god. Did you just shiver? I mean, like not just any shiver or cold shiver? Omg! What?" Brooke said with wide eyes.

I glanced around me and said,"I-I don't know. But, I'm not cold. Soooo..."

She grinned and said,"Yeah, there's ghosts here. Like IKR."

I gazed at her pretty,glossy,pink lips and laughed. "Sure are!"

"Zip lock your lips! They'll hear you." Brooke said with a big grin plastered on her face.

Now I was getting tired of it. She nudged me, showing me her brown leather bag filled with arrows.

"God, is that for your bow?" I asked seriously.

She shrugged and said,"Maybe. But it can be for anything, really."

I gulped and watched her show me her silver-brownish bow. Then she retrieved her arrows, holding it back from her bow.

"Watch out!" she yelled as she shot her arrow down to the archery set target.

I collapsed down onto the floor, clutching my throat tightly. What've happened had just made me faint.

"Oh gosh! Kenna! Did I do this? I'm soooo soooo sorry!" she exclaimed, bending down on her knees.

My eyes were closed, slightly opened, too. My heart was pounding so fast, I couldn't understand what was happening. But whoever knows shall tell me. What happened? was the wandering question floating around in my head.

I finally blinked open my eyes, waking up. As I glanced around, sunlight blocked my forehead, making a sunny glare over my face. My heart sank in as I found myself laying down on Brooke's Mom's hospital room bed. I never told you yet, that Brooke's Mom had her own hospital, with other coworkers. Well obviously Brooke had to have told her mom about this coincidence that had happened to me. But I didn't want this! I didn't WANT this to happen with me! My parents, including annoying Stella, would find out about this. My dad, who is overprotective would find out and tell me to never go out again by myself! No! I don't want that! No!
