What Happened

I see..

White...

Nothing but white. It was everything was quiet.

I knew where I was. I was between my life and my death.

I wasn't ready to die just yet.

So I prayed.

"God. Please let me live. I want to use this to grow stronger. I'll use this to grow stronger in you. You put an obstacle in my way I will find a way to overcome it in your name Lord. Please give me my chance."

That's when I felt it. I felt loved. A loving hand on me.

Then I felt myself drifting away.

Then I opened my eyes and had to close them.

"Hailey?" I opened my eyes agian blinking rapidly to adjust to the brightness.

I looked around and saw my parents.

"What happened?" I whispered my voice weak. My mama shook as she took my hand and gave it a loving squeeze.

"They.. they found a tumor on your brain. They had surgery and they got it out. They caught it just in time." She said.

I reached up and felt a bandage.

"You can't even see where they had the surgery. They said your hair would cover it up." My dad said.

I weakly nodded.

"Where's Milo?" I asked. "He's watching the kids. We'll leave in a bit and have him come over?" Mom said. I weakly smiled.

He's so caring. One of the many reasons I love him. My siblings love Milo just as much as he loves them. He was an only child so he considers them his siblings. Well soon he'll be their brother-in-law.

The doctor came and looked me over. And I was able to eat some broth soup thing. It was tasty. And then I was able to sleep.

I woke up to someone stroking my hand. I smiled seeing Milo. He smiled lovingly at me.

"Hey beautiful.... you gave us all a scare there love." He said. His bright blue eyes filled with worry. Worry relief and most of all love. Love was always there with me.

"I'm sorry." I said gripping his long slender hand. "There's nothing to be sorry about my love." He said.

He held up a bouquet of flowers.

"My lady." I giggled as I took the beautiful flowers.

"They said you can go home tomorrow. If you want." He said. "And miss all this great hospital food?" I joked. Making him chuckle.

He bent over and kissed me. I kissed him back and held the back of his neck as his tongue entered my mouth to explore mine.

We moaned. Then he pulled away making me pout. He grinned and gave my nose a quick peck.

"We'll ne married soon. Then we can continue." He said. I nodded.

I moved over a bit and he got in beside me. And we snuggled and talked the rest of the day.
