' oh my god its so amazing !!' I hear my mom squeal As we walk into our new house "scarlet isn't this amazing ,its looks better than the pictures online " her English accent higher than normal
" yeah its amazing ."I mumble , she gives me a small glare and turns around to go help my dad with our stuff .
I walk up the stairs and down the hall , they said my room was the farthest down the hall I stop in front of the door and turn the Crystal door knob , the room is bright with white walls and a bathroom with a window seat and a huge walk in closet
did they seriously give me the master bedroom ? I mean I wouldn't mind it the room isn't bad.
"You like the room?" My dad startles me as he walks in carrying in my the boxes " we wanted give you the big room ,more privacy . were do you want these?" I don't say anything I just point to a corner in the room and he walks over there puts them down . "I'll bring the rest up " he gives me a small still and walks out.
I pull out my phone and start scrolling threw Instagram , I miss England and my friends , as I'm on my phone I see something out the corner of my eye this boy is standing at my door with a couple of boxes he's wearing black jeans that kinda hang loose And a red shirt he has tattoos on his left arm and a couple on his right he knocks gaining my attention " your dad told me to bring these up ." he kinda cute , he looks around 19 " okay , just put them with the others."
" I'm Zack by the way , I live next door " he gives me a smile that shows off his dimples . oh god. " I'm scarlet . " I return the smile . "nice to meet you" and he walks out

Its now dark out side as I finish hanging my Christmas lights up boarding the top of the ceiling , I look at the clock on my night stand 7:30 . wow . I grab the knife off the desk grab a box that says 'toiletries' writing in sharpie , I take to the bathroom cut the box open and start putting things away while jamming to Kevin gates when I reach a small container at the bottom I pull it out and open it up . I think about leaving it in the metal tin but I pull
the small piece of sharp metal out and I just look at it , I remember using this , it stained with blood and burned from a lighter I wrap in some toilet paper and I stick it back in the tiny tin and put under the sink . Its 8 by the time I finish , I turn the water on and go grab a pair of clothes to change in.
My phone lights up 4 missed calls from josh. Great !I ignore the missed calls and go take a shower letting the hot water run down my back , quickly washing my hair and my body I dry off and put my clothes on its weird not laying in my bed in London but instead I'm laying in my bed in Chicago.

I wake in the morning to the sound of my alarm , I hit snooze and roll out of bed , I open the blinds to let some light in and I go to the bathroom I apply minimum make up and I run my straightner threw it so it won't be its natural curly self. I pull it into a pony tail and rap a red bandanna around the roots of the front.
I walk into my closet and pull a pair of black jeans with a white tank top ,and a flanle out and I slip on my white Adidas I grab phone off the charger and walk into the kitchen .
" hey dad ", I say as I grab an apple and take a bit I still have two hour till school starts "you ready for your first day? Your already registered and you classes are on my desk in the study" my dad look at me and I just nod . " were is mom? " I ask her cars not here. "She had to leave early for work . since it a new place she really didn't know if she would get lost you know" it's actually my moms fault we had to move down here , she got a high position and it pays better I still think its bullshit that we had to move all the way here from London.
"Ok well Im gonna go brush my teeth and leave for school so love you . " I peck his cheek and run up stares to brush my teeth and I grab the class list .
I walk out side and it's actually really warm . I'm walking down the street listening to music when I see a black car drive past me and stop a couple of feet in front ,
Of course my first instinct would to run , I see the familiar black hair and tattooed arms Zack , "hop in." He moves his sunglasses on top of his head. Giving my a smug smile. "Trust me , the school is to far for you to walk. " he gets out the car and walks around to open the other door as I get it , he starts the car and we drive to school .
