Things were awesome growing up as a child, mom was nice and dad was strict as dads always are, although mom and dad are gone. I try to stay focused on the present all the time, but today seemed like a let's take a walk through memory lane kind of day. I try not to be bitter at my life growing up, but sometimes you just need to rant. I now live with to demanding foster parents Dianna, and Franklyn
"Jacob get your ass out of bed now," my foster mother yelled as she went down the stairs to above my room.
"I'm up," I yelled, (oh yeah my names Jacob Alexandra, I am 17 and two month shy of 18. I am blue, turquoise green eye sexy hunk with hair that is black as night.)
"Then why isn't my breakfast made," Dianna huffed while hitting the last step a little louder than the rest, "you know that if your gonna continue to live here you got to cook meals, do dishes and help out with everything that needs done at the house so I can go to work and pay for the clothes on your back, the food in your belly, and roof over your head with a warm bed."
"I will get right on it ma'am," I told her and finish hiding my college applications before going out stepping out my closet room.
I then went in the kitchen put on my apon and asked her what she would like for breakfast."I would like eggs and sausage with pancakes," she replied and I knew today was gonna be a good day with her.
I got straight to work and poured her coffee and got her two lumps of sugar and toast and gave it to her with a newspaper. I turned back around keeping quiet and finished cooking her breakfast, and a steak and eggs for her husband's breakfast.
When I got everything done and finished cooking and plates set down in front of her. I gave Dianna hers and set Franklyn's on the table as he came down the stairs.
"So boy, you made breakfast... good, now go clean our bathrooms and do the laundry," dad said as he sat down for breakfast. Everything was going to be good today for Franklyn calls me boy when he in a good mood.
I did just that leaving to go do the bathrooms first, then laundry by the time that I go back down to the kitchen they were gone.
I figured I just needed to stick it out only a couple more years till I can get a place of my own. I sighed to myself at my luck in life and hope it would get better. I been saving money up hidden in a coffee can at my friend house. He never asks, why I ask to leave stuff at his house. I think he figure it out in day three of our friendship. In fact there has been times that the state shows up after I been ordered to clean the whole house.
I go to school at a public school, all the while I do extra schooling online hoping to have a degree before I eighteen years of age, as to increase my own success.Speaking of school, I glanced at my watch and realized that I am thirty minutes late for class. Great, just what I need someone lecturing me about punctuality, thus making even more late for class.
