The First Time We Actually Talked

Bay's POV

Ryland Rocky and I were currently sitting on the couch watching a movie, well Ryland and I were, Rocky's girlfriend called so he left and went to go talk to her. I was at the Lynch's house because my parents said that I could go with Audrey to visit them for the summer.

"Is Rocky the only one who doesn't notice how in love with him you are" Ryland said snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I guess so, he thinks that it's just a fangirl crush that I'll get over eventually, but I doubt it" I said laying my head on Ryland's shoulder.

"Well he's an idiot for not realizing how amazing you are" Ryland said putting his arm around me.

"Thanks Ry, but it doesn't matter, he has a girlfriend and he's too old for me, I'm 16 and still in school he's 20 and he'll be 21 in a couple of months, it's just not meant to be" I said with tears in my eyes.

"Hey well if you need a shoulder to cry on, I'm always here for you kiddo" he said patting my head.

"Did you just call me kiddo" I asked and he nodded his head, "I am not a kid, I'm only 2 years younger than you, I can drive, can a kid drive" I said looking at him.

"Well obviously, because you're still a kid, little lady, I might only be 2 years older than you but I'm 18, I'm an adult and I'm not still in high school, kiddo" he said rubbing my head.

"I'm not a kid" I said in a babyish voice.

"Yes you are" he said.

"No I'm not"

"Yes you are"

"No I'm not"

"Yes you are"

"No I'm not"

"Yes you are"

"Yes I am" I said trying to trick him

"No you're not" he said and immediately after he he buried his face in his hands and I started laughing.

"Haha, I tricked you" I said poking him.

"You know what kiddo" he said looking up at me.

"What" I replied just as he started to tickle me.
"No Ryland stop, I'm too ticklish" I said laughing.

"I'm sorry I can't understand you with all the laughter" he said laughing as he continued tickling me.

"Stop" I said still laughing.

"You don't seem like you want me stop. You have to say the magic words kiddo" he said.

"I was wrong" I said but he was still tickling me.

"And.." He said and I gave him a confused look, "you have to say Ryland is a great, sexy God, and he is all knowing".

" Ryland is a great, sexy God, and he is all knowing " I said.

"Ain't that the truth" he said and I just rolled my eyes.

"Will you get off of me now, you're kind of heavy" I said trying to push him off seeing as how he was kinda laying on me and squishing me.

"Yeah yeah" he said getting up and then I jumped on his back. "What the hell" he said but luckily he didn't fall.

"Language Mr. And this is your punishment for squishing me" I said as he gave me a piggy back ride.

Hey guys it's Bay and I started the book!!!!!!!!!! So this book is basically gonna be filled with Bay and Ryland moments like these to help you understand their love story more, because these moments weren't in the book, but yeah so here's the first chapter I know it's short but the chapters in this book aren't really supposed to be long because it's basically just some bonus chapters.
