Natsu POV.
It had been two weeks since Lucy and I had our little encounter in the janitors closet. She hasn't really spoken to me since then and I'm still wondering about the limo she went into.

In my opinion Lucy is just Damnn flat out drop dead gorgeous. But she hates my guts so that's a downer. Anyways today is the first day of basketball tryouts, Not to be cocky or anything but I'm one of the best players and I'm captain of the team so naturally I already made it.

~time skip after school~
"Hey man how's it going" asked my rival/ bestfriend gray, "it's going good bro just wondering who's gonna be on the team this year. He shrugged his shoulders and we continued walking to the gymnasium where the tryouts were being held. 

"Natsu lets go were gonna run some drills to test their skills" coach Laxus said to me. I nodded my head and lead half of the people to the left side of the gym while he toke the rest to the right side.

It was an uneven number he had 7 members while I had six so if we scrimmage someone is gonna have to sit out. What a drag.

Suddenly the gym doors that had previously been closed flung open and a mess of blonde hair ran in, fast. "I'm so sorry sir for being late first and last I promise". Yup you guessed it, it was Lucy. I walked up to her wondering why she was here " umm Luce this is the boys basketball tryouts not girls". She glared at me "yes I know I'm here for the boys tryouts because there's no girls basketball team smart ass". Did she just scold me in front of MY team?.

" I'll have you know I'm the captain of this team so be nice or leave Luce". She walked away completely ignoring what I had just said. This girl cheeses my life. "Hello coach I'm Lucy heartifillia and I'm here to tryout". As soon as she said that all the boys started laughing which made her really angry but the coach had a serious face on, he always does.

"Quiet down ass wipes I'm tryna talk here" Lucy tried to get them to quiet down but they didn't listen until she beat one of them up. Coach was surprised but decided not to report it."Lucy do you have any experience with basketball"? Asked coach. Lucy's face went completely serious "yes sir, 11 years to be exact.

He looked impressed and by the look he was giving her I knew he was considering her. "Alright coach let's test her skills out". He nodded at me and I went to go get a basketball. I came back and threw the basketball at Lucy full power just to see if she'd be able to catch it. To my surprise Lucy caught it gracefully and pretty fast at the last second.

"Aii your catching is good but let's see you shoot, start from a one pointer first then we'll go up. She nodded and went to her destination, she shot it and it went in perfectly no bouncing off nothing like that. Then she went to a two pointer and the same exact thing happened again, it went in perfectly.

As she got to a three pointer everyone held their breaths to see if she would make it in. It was all slow motion as she shot it. And to everyone's surprise it went in the same way as all the rest, perfectly.

"Ok I can see you got skills but time for lay ups and after that we'll see how you are with dribbling and blocking". I was trying to act cool and not surprised, she got skill but a girl? On the boys basketball team? Hell Nahh!.

Her dribbling was hard and fast, she kept it low all the time and she knew that she can't be in the key for more than 3 seconds. Her lay up made it in nicely and then she proceeded to do it with her left hand. Shit she might be good enough to be a Captain with the way she moves.

"Alrighty captain what else is there?" She broke my trail of though. "Just blocking, the hardest part of it" I smirked knowing there was no way she can fend off one of our guys. On purpose I chose gajeel as an offense. Let's really see if her defense is good. I was totally shocked when she got the ball and broke gajeels ankles, she pretended to go to the left, where gajeel followed then she turned to the right and threw the ball about a foot away from her, just when gajeel backed up she put her hand from the little space between gajeels legs and pulled the ball towards her causing him to fall on his behind. She then shot a three pointer and made it.

Everyone including myself were totally and completely shocked I mean she just toke down gajeel, what the hell is going on and who the hell has she been training with?.
