Sean's Pov

Since I can't sing, I have been spending my last few days of Warped watching other bands play. I have also been hanging out with my band more than ever...and Matty. I have been dreading the end of Warped your but the day has finally come. I am staying with Matty for a couple weeks. I will be staying in Nashville until August 13th and I will fly back home to Wisconsin.

There was an end-of-the-tour party tonight. Of course, Matty and I were going together. I was wearing a strapless dress that was black with lace on top. I was pairing it with a crystal necklace and black heels. My hair was done in a braided crown.

My phone rang from my pocket. I had almost an hour and a half to get ready. The text was from Matty.

"Hey I have a surprise for you. Come find me when you have a chance. Orrrrrrrr, you can get it when we meet up for the party." The text said.

I sent a response. I basically just said that I would get it when we meet up for the party. This made me wonder. I have always hated surprises. I remember that when I was younger, my mom told me I had a surprise. She wouldn't tell me about it. When she gave it to me, it was a little red hamster. She must have forgotten that I was allergic to hamsters. Needless to say, I had hives all over. My mom was always drunk. I disconnected myself from her a couple years ago. My dad died from an accident, as my mom would say, before I was born. She never remarried, never had anymore children, but she did bring men home all the time. When I was younger, I heard the squeaks from her bedroom. I thought it was a monster. When I grew older and learned about sex, I realized that it was my mom and her new boy toy.

To pass time, I decided to go to a Dunkin' Donuts and get a coffee. I always got the blueberry coffee coolatta. This time was no different except for the cashier. I walked into the shop and ordered my usual. The lady did not look up from the cash register when I ordered; she just started making my drink. When she came back, she looked at me with disgust.

"Can I help you?" I asked. I was personally shocked. I had never met this girl in my life.

"Yes actually. Are you Sean Queen?" She asked kind of rudely. Oh shit.

"I- I- yes I am." I responded kind of nervously. She looked at me for a split second. My eyes were still locked on hers.

"Well, your music sucks. I don't really see why you write about a lot of the things you do. I don't see why your so special. You're just like all of the other Metalcore bands." She smirked an evil grin. I took a deep breath in. I have never really had anyone tell me, to my face, they hate my music. I normally ouldn't give a response, but today I have one.

"Well as my good friend.... my boyfriend... Matty Mullins would say, ' This is who we are! These are the roads we paved. And now I've had enough of your judgment. You pass it so easily.' Now, can I please just have my god damn coffee? You can have your opinion about me, but next time you see someone that is well known, try to keep it a little more professional." I shot back as politely as I could. I slammed my cash on the counter and snatched my drink. I walked back to the bus, since it was only a five-minute walk, while angrily sipping my drink. I don't care that she doesn't like my music. I do, however, care that she did not keep herself professional. When you work, you don't act like you can do whatever you want. In addition, you should not act rudely towards a customer. Being a nice business is how you keep customers coming to your establishment.

I got back to the bus. I was cooled off from the debacle that I had just encountered. I decided that now would be a good time to start getting ready. I turned our shower on hot and closed the bathroom door. Whoever owned this bus before us was smart. They installed Bluetooth speakers which is amazing when showering. I connected my phone and hit my 'shower' playlist. "Tears Don't Fall" by Bullet For My Valentine played first. I began to sing when I got in. "Your tears don't fall, they crash around me. Her conscious calls, the guilty to come home!" I sang the lyrics to the song. I was in the middle of conditioning my hair when someone pounded on the door.
