It all started when 11 year old Cassiadie Smith was at a skating tournament with her friends Candayce,Lexi,Sam,and Jaiden.Cassadie was exiting the rink and said her good byes to her friends.Cassadies family calls her cassie.Any ways Cassie and her father went to the pie store after dropping off her mother Vanessa. Her father ,James, had walked into the store leaving Cassie in the truck alone lying in the back seat resting her eyes.He had came back out with a pie that gave off an appetizing fragrance in the air he hopped in the truck and noticed that Cassie was MISSING.
He had called the police wondering if they could do any thing to find his baby girl.He had to tell Vanessa, but what he did not know is telling her would make them lose their marraige.So after telling Vanessa she filed for a divorce.After the divorce they called criminal investigation services.They had offered to help to find Cassie. Investigators Mr. Keegan and Mrs.Sheen were the two inveatigators that helped, Keegan was still in training so it was mainly Mrs.Sheen doing all the work.
Any ways Keegan jumped to conclusions that James sold his own daughter.All that Keegan got out of that was a broken nose.Keegan tried to do all he could to prove James did it.Keegan would take pictures of James truck. One day he had noticed in the back seat where Cassie would sit that there was a lot of arts and craft objects most likely made by Cassie.Later that evening James caught Keegan going through his truck and well....Keegan didn't wake up until 3 days later.But later in life after all of the incidents and problems they had finally had a break through or so they thought.
