So, seeing how much detail IE put into the Fubuki Fusion-yeah, I'm dubbing the possesion' that now-people had come up with different ideas. Very ibviously, the scarf is linked together with how the twins are fused.
Or not.
So, to sinpmplify; mainly, the Fubuki Fusion theories are classified into 'scarf' and 'non-scarf'. Makes sense? No? Don't worry, IE is plenty crazy too.
Scarf means that somehow, Atsuya's soul is tied to that scarf. So when Shirou throw the scarf away, he was actually banishing Atsuya out.
Non-scarf means that the scarf is symbolic, and nothing else. Plain and simple.
But before that, I'll discuss why Atsuya is wearing the scarf in the first place. Because it's cold? Duh, but judging by what I see, Shirou isn't wearing that much, and Atsuya isn't wearing any extra layer of clothes. And if he hates the cold so much, he would've either stayed in or complain all the time.
He did neither, which means there are other reasons. I'm saying there's something he's hiding, like a scar. I've thought about this before and it is likely.
As far as I know anyways, I have researched into this and to be frank, I don't get a single word anymore than the basics, but I'm betting on 'umbillical cord compression'.
So assuming I don't need to educate you on birds-and-bees and sex-ed, umbilical cord compression is where the umbilical cord tangles in the womb. It's usually nothing on normal birth's, since the cord will untangle itself when the baby comes out.
But if there is a second baby, the cord could stay long enough to be a chocking hazard, especially if no one realized there is a second baby. So I'm guessing Atsuya scarred his neck from that and uses the scarf to hide it. It's baseless guess, but it's likely.
Is it possible to not know there's a baby 0.2? Yes. Sometimes the baby 0.2 can hide behind the baby 0.1, so no one can really sense him.
But I know next to nothing about this. I researched all I can, but Internet is untrustable. So if any of you thought differently, go throw a rotten fish at me.
Anyways, my point is that Atsuya had established a connection with the scarf, so when Shirou got the scarf, he may or may not connect to Shirou through it.
Or he was just wearing it because it looks cool. He's a drama queen, you'll never know. But then again, Shirou is a bit of a drama queen too, it can be that he throw away the scarf when he 'banished' Atsuya just to be symbolic.
So yeah, after all this fuss, I had come to the conclusion of both is likely.
