I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THIS CHARACTER APART FROM SELENE DELUNA, THE REST BELONG, SADLY, TO JK ROWLING
Chapter 9 - The Diary of the Half-blood Prince
Remus' POV
"Moony!!!!!" Sirius bellowed as loud as he could in my ear, jolting me from my sleep. I must have leapt about six foot in the air, looking like something resembling a startled chicken, as he burst out in fits of laughter. Yet another rude awakening from Padfoot, don't you just love him?!
"Yeah, hilarious." I muttered, glancing over to the loudly ticking clock on my bedside table. Great. Six o'clock in the morning?! No one was up this early!!
"Why on earth did you wake me up an hour early?!" I whisper-shouted, as I pulled myself tiredly from the nice warm bed I longed to curl back up in. Instead of the snapped back response I would expect from most people, I just got a shaking of his head, and a knowing smile. His softly curled hair spiralled elegantly from the side of his face, and his gleaming white teeth shone rather irredesantly. If I was a normal girl, I would have swooned right now. Thankfully for both of us, I am neither normal, or a girl.
He gestured urgently for me to follow him out of the door, getting impatient as I deliberatley took my time walking over to him.
"Any time for a shower?" I muttered sarcastically, as he shoved me out of the room, only leaving me with a matter of seconds to magically change my rather worn blue boxer shorts, into my complete school uniform.
"And why have you brought me down here?" I snapped irritatedly, annoyed that he'd taken me from my nice warm bed, down to the freezing common room, that was completely empty.
"The prank! I though you'd remember!" James whispered, appearing from under his invisibilty cloak alongside Peter.
"Well, I'm sorry but there are other, more important things I am thinking about at the moment." I hissed back, following Sirius under the cloak, and disappearing from view.
"Yeah! Like Selene." Sirius taunted, nudging me with his shoulder. They all smirked broadly, as a furious blush spread across my pallid face, but I didn't try to deny it.
"Shut up." I muttered, avoiding their eyes. "Where is she anyway?" I asked, as we rather difficultly edged towards the door, our 8 feet barely working in unison.
"She ain't coming." Sirius said shortly, pushing a hand out of the cloak to open the door to the common room.
"Why?" I asked sceptically, rather disappointed that she wasn't coming.
"Do you wanna go wake her?" He said wryly, as we started down the eerily empty corridor.
"Good point." I chuckled, the thought of going and waking her up and hour early was enough to kill a man from fear.
As quiet as it was possible for Sirius to be, we crept down towards the dungeons, rather unnerved at how almost instantly the air had chilled.
A sense of foreboding filled my veins, as we stopped outside the entrance to the Slytherin common room.
"Your job Moony." Sirius grinned like a maniac, anticipating what havoc he would cause to the Snake's precious room.
"Passssword." The large silver snake un coiled from where it had been sleeping on the dark stone wall, and glared at us, blinking in a slow and intimidating manner.
"Pureblood." Somehow Selene had managed to wrangle the password out of Snape last night, so I knew we'd get access.
"Yesssss." It hissed, flicking it's tounge at us as we pushed through into the common room, through the archway it had just revealed. There was something about it's black, unfeeling eyes that made me shiver. They reminded me alot of Snape...
