the siren's mate

Chapter 2

when I next wake up it was still dark outside as I looked out of the window to see the moon as it's at it's highest point in the sky. This night makes me remember some of the better days before they came before everything I know changed to what it is now and how my life has become.

I turned away from the window to the door to get a glass of water from the kitchen but before I got there was a noise at the end of the corridor near the kitchen. I couldn't make out everything that was said until the end of them talking when they where coming my way as I was tuning to go back to my room they told me to stop.

I turned to them and said "what can I do for you" he just stand's their starring at me until he said "do you know where the bathroom" I told him "it's down the hall to the left" but he just kept staring at me I tuned back round to go back to my room. Just as I where going he reached out his hand around my wrist from the moment he did that he said the word that set my doom he said the word most humans fear he said "mate" that was when I turned to him and did something I would come to regret. I kicked him in his man parts he let me go and and I ran like the wind zig zagging though the hallways to lose him when I did lose him I made my way back to my room to sleep the rest of the night away.

But as I make my way back I run in to another slave wondering around the hallways I go to her and ask "are you lost or something" she answers with a "yes" I ask her if she would like to sleep in my room or take her back to hers she asks "if it alright with you can I sleep in your room I just got here today I forgot where my room is" I tell her its OK and to come along .

We run to my room and I give her the bed while I put the blanket on the floor we both say goodnight to each other the last thing on my mind is of what is to come in the morning will I see him again or will I not.
