Chapter 5

Yesterday Ladybug and Chat Noir actually had a great time, it was getting dark while they were still embracing each other's company, feeling so close. To Ladybug it felt like she should keep her ground and play hard to get, but really, she just wanted to get to know Chat more, she wanted to officially call him a friend, a best friend, a close friend, maybe even something else...? No... Her heart belongs to Adrien.  Could you even love two people? Is that even possible? If so, how could you choose, let alone move on and not feel guilty for not giving the second piece of your heart to the other person? Marinette would never live that decision down, she would always be reminded of breaking either her amazing crime-fighting partner's heart or the lovely and nice models heart. She couldn't live with that. She can only love one. 

The only stupid thing was that, Marinette was positive, that Adrien didn't like her, let alone notice her. She couldn't obtain his heart even if she tried. But she could try, right? 

~Morning~

Marinette woke up groaning angrily from her alarm clock going off and interrupting her blissful dream. She dreamed about him. She dreamed about Chat. 

'Oh no...'~ Marinette thought, processing and remembering her dream that she was woken up from.

She wasn't sure what this meant, but it couldn't be good. Why did that cat catch her attention?

Adrien woke up, but it was obvious that he was having trouble falling asleep last night. 

'Great, another night, with pretty much no sleep'~Adrien thought, grumbling and getting out of bed.

As Adrien got up, he heard Plagg mumble some inhumane noises, but he did catch a few syllables like

"Ti.... kki... ear... ring... kwa....mi...." Plagg mumble out, with drool spilling out of his mouth, and his little paws swinging all around.

"Tikki, earring, kwami? What does that mean? What is he dreaming about?" The blond boy whispered, pretty much questioning himself.

Adrien got ready for school and headed out the door and into the car that used to drive him everyday to his destinations. 

When he arrived he immediately went towards Nino to say hello, but was stopped by Nino's comment.

"Hey, dude, you look paler than usual. Everything okay?" Nino did not take his eyes off of Adrien, he was patiently waiting for an answer, but to be honest, Adrien did not feel well, at all. His body was aching, even though it didn't make sense why it should, he has been fighting akumas with Ladybug... ermm... Marinette, I guess..? That fact is still so surreal.  Anyway, Adrien has been fighting akumas for a year and his body hasn't been sore for a long time after a battle, so maybe he was coming down with a cold?

"Mph, I don't know Nino, I do feel a bit ill" I answer feeling my energy drain from that short sentence.

"Bro, maybe you should go home, you should get some rest." The music loving friend said looking at Adrien with worry in his eyes and face.

"Maybe you are right, but first I'm going to go to the nurses office. See you later, Nino" The blond superhero murmured as Nino gave him a smile and a wave, then Adrien started to drag himself to the nurses office, but was stopped by Chloe.

"Adrikins! Where are you going?" Chloe squealed making Adriens head pound, he was in a bad mood, and was holding onto thin line, not to let his anger overpower him. He almost snapped, but someone appeared in his vision. It was Marinette.

"Chloe, please, keep it down, don't you see that Adrien isn't feeling well?" The blue hair girl said, trying to keep a calm and quiet tone. She understood him, she knew what and when he needed something. She was so amazing.

Chloe wasn't really happy about being told what to do, but she just made a frustrated growl and stepped aside.

Before Adrien entered the office, he gathered all of his energy to send Marinette a heart-warming smile "Thank you" he said and went inside.

Marinette smiled and felt her cheeks tingle, there was a light pink color spread across her face. She knew he didn't feel well, he was pale and he looked tired.

Adrien came out of the nurses office pretty quickly, they took his temperature and the nurses agreed that he had caught a cold and that it might get worse, if he doesn't go home and rest.

As Adrien stepped out of the nurses office, he saw Marinette sitting on a bench next to the room he had just walked out of, he was surprised that she was there, even though the bell didn't ring yet, he felt happy, that she might be waiting for me. At that moment Marinette's blue-ocean eyes met Adrien's green-emerald eyes, she stood up and started walking towards him, smiling calmly.

"So, how are you feeling?" Marinette immediately felt so proud of herself for not stuttering, her smile grew bigger.

The blond boy on the other hand was quite shocked, how Marinette was growing on him, she maybe finally started to see him as someone who could truly be trusted, but he wasn't sure about it.

"Well, I would say that I'm feeling okay, but I would be lying" He managed to put on a smile, but naturally a small chuckle escaped his lips. He never noticed how amazing Marinette was, she made him smile without even trying.

"You don't have to lie to me, tell me everything that's bothering you, you can trust me" Marinette thought that what she said was cheesy, but Adrien thought, that if he wasn't sick, he would have given Marinette a big warm hug, she cared so much, when no one else did.

"Copy. So, I'm going to go home, I'm gonna get some rest." he smiled at her one more time and headed out through the school doors and into a car, while Marinette was left alone in her own thoughts and fantasies.

'I guess I could bring him a *Get better* gift'~ The blue-eyed girl thought with a childish smile splattered across her face, her smile faded to a soft one 'I guess that also means, I'm gonna pay someone a little visit'~ with that thought the bell rang, and a new school day began.

Oh God, I'm writing this at 1:30 am, and. I'm. So. Tired. 

At this point I'm wayyyyyyyy too lazy and tired to check if there are any grammar mistakes, so this is the real deal. Let me fix that *the real bullshit 

I really have no idea where I was going with this Chapter, but I hope you like it! Sorry that it's a bit short, but really, this week was a challenge for me, test after test, so my writers block is on full blast at this point, basically.
