chapter 5

Marinette POV

I started when Alya pointed out the modeler.

"I'm wondering how did you get hawk moth to stop bugging you about the miraculouses?" I ask after telling the story.

"I don't know. Well I guess you know I'm chat noir.... I wanna know who you are, but I won't pressure you into it. It's still your choice." He says.

"I don't know chat. I might tell you later."

"It's OK it's your secret. Someone that we should figure out who they really are is hawk moth." Adrein said. "We should also talk more about me being akumatized."

Ladybug's earring blinked away a spot. "We can talk more tomorrow, but I have to go now." I jump off the balcony and went to my house.

When I got to my house I went through the trap door on my ceiling landing on my bed. "Tiki spots off."

"Look who has a crush on cat noir." Tiki teased.

I rolled my eyes. "Let's get you something to eat." I go down to the bakery to grab a couple cookies.

"Are you going to pay for those?" My dad teased. I give him a kiss on the cheek.

"Can that be my payment?" I asked giving him a hug.

"Sure sweety." He said giving me a kiss on the top of my head.

"Love you papa."

I go upstairs to give tiki her cookies. She is nibbling on one when we hear a scream out side. "What was that?"

"I don't know."

"Tiki, spots on!" I transform into ladybug and go onto the roof. I see a person walking down the street. Every time they get near a street light it goes out.

"Someone help! He has my baby!" A woman that sounds like Mono's mom yells.

I look across the street and see glowing green eyes. How did he get here so fast? He lives on the other side of town. I use my yo-yo to swing across the street. "Your secret better not spoil our fights." I whisper.

"Anything for you my lady." He answers kissing the back of my hand.

"How did you get here so fast?"

"I was on patrol." He answers quickly.

The man knocks on the bakery door.

"Wait that's where that girl Marienette lives." He says almost to himself.

"Yeah that girl I had you watch over."

My dad answers the door. "Hello?" He sounds very tired.

"Hello I would like to talk with your daughter." The man says.

"I'll go get her." My dad say groggily.

"I'll be right back." I say to chat. "Will you get closer so you can hear what they say?"

"Yes my lady." He goes closer to the door.

I go through the trap door and land on my bed. "Tiki spots off." I whisper. I change into pajamas and climb into my bed.

My dad knocks on the door. "Marienette will you come here a minute?"

I get out of my bed acting tired. I look at a clock. "But dad it's 10:30 PM." I say trying not to sound surprised at how late it is.

"I know it's late. It will only take a minute, then you can go right back to bed."

"OK." I open the door and go downstairs to the bakery.

"Hello marinette, I'm the akuma King and I would like to talk to you." He says.

"Marinette, I'm going back to bed." My dad yawned. "Don't stay up to late."

"OK, I won't." I answer. Behind the man I see chat noir. Silly kitty.

"First question, what do you know about these 2 people?" He shows me a picture of ladybug and chat noir.

"Her name is ladybug and his name is chat noir." I say while pointing to the people.

Adrein POV

Why is he showing her pictures of me and ladybug?

"What else do you know?" He asks.

"His name means black cat and he has big green eyes."

"Your no help." He grabs a butterfly stamp and tries to put it on her. She doges every one.

"You can go now." She says sounding like ladybug. Where is she?

"First let me put this on you." He says sounding frustrated.

"So if your the akuma King doesn't that also make you hawk moth?" She asks as she continues dodging stamps. For such a clumsy girl she can really stay balanced. She's dodging the stamps just like ladybug dodges stuff.

"How do you know about hawk moth, but you barley know anything about the cat and bug?"

"Do I look like chat noir's girlfriend and ladybug's best friend?" She doesn't sound like herself. But they may be because every time she tries to talk to me it comes out not making a single bit of sense. I didn't hear his answer, but I paid attention when I heard a scream of pain.

"Ladybug, are you OK?" I ask thinking that ladybug screamed. I look over and see marinette on the ground crying in pain.

A butterfly goes on the man's face. "You have to get their Miraculouses! The boy I akumatized earlier made me completely forget who I akumatized, but I know that that boy is chat noir." Hawk moth says.

The akuma King walks to the next house and does just about the same thing.

I run over to marinette to see if she was OK. She had a blue butterfly mask on. "Are you akumatized?" I ask.

"No. Get the stamp off and please hurry." Her voice was weak and soft, but I understood her perfectly fine.

I found a rag in the kitchen. I put warm water on it and brought it back to marinette. I washed off the stamp on her arm leaving her arm red where the stamp used to be. I picked her up and brought her to her room. I placed her in her bed and put the blankets over her.

I ran outside, but the man was long gone. I ran down the street washing the stamps off of the people lying limp in their door ways. It was taking forever running to each person and washing the stamps individually. After about 3 people ladybug showed up and helped me wash off the stamps. We finished around midnight. "Good bye my lady." Then we went our separate ways.
