Chapter 11 - The funeral

Lily's POV.....
After the battle we had last night, everyone went to rest but I couldn't sleep. I couldn't stand the fact that I left Mia die. "I will never ever forgive myself... NEVER!!!" I shouted, banging my fist in the wall. I started sobbing again, I can't hold on my tears! Oshawott noticed me and hugged me tight and I hugged him back. "Why... Why did she ate her soul... Why?"  I whispered. Mia's funeral is in 3 hours and we're all getting ready, but, I'm not in the mood...

Knock knock knock...

BEN came in, closing the door behind and sat on my bed, next to me. He didn't say a word, he just hugged me tight. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..." He whispered while hugging me tight. "It's not your fault... It's mine... I failed to my sister... I promised that I would protect her with all my life and I wasn't able to do that..." I started to tear up again. He let go and kissed my forehead, making me blush. "It's not your fault, Lily, we didn't know that she was so strong!" He whispered softly. I just sobbed more and Oshawott wiped my tears away with his tiny hand. I weakly smiled to him and we three shared a group hug. After a while I checked the time and it was 4:27 pm. The funeral starts at 5 pm. "It's time to go..." I whispered, picking Oshawott up. I slowly started to walk towards the door. I don't wanna do this, I don't want to see my sister dead. I wish she was still alive, here with me, playing around, but that's impossible, BECAUSE SHE'S DEAD. I punched the wall again, I have to calm down. I took a deep breath and came downstairs, where everyone was there waiting for me with sad looks on their faces. Clockwork approached me and hugged me tight. I slowly hugged back and started to sob on her shoulder. "Hey, don't cry! Everyone here lost someone who loved too. You're not alone, you still have us!" She whispered, releasing the hug. I weakly smiled at her and thanked. One by one, all of the pastas hugged me and tried to confort me, but nothing will take the pain away. We all started heading towards the cemetery and the Slenderbrothers were a little behind us, carrying the coffin. We reached the cemetery and Slendy started to read that boring speech that I didn't care what that is. When I heard the words 'she'll now rest in peace' I started trembling and hugging Oshawott tighter in my arms. A few tears escaped from my eyes, I couldn't hide them no more. After the speach, the Slenderbrothers moved the coffin to the hole and everyone but me, threw a red rose to the coffin. Instead of red, I threw a pink one and whispered "You shall rest now, my pinkie flower". More tears escaped from my eyes and I started to run back to the mansion with Oshawott in my arms. I quickly entered and ran upstairs into my room, closing the door behind me. I jumped to my bed with my face on the pillow and cried out loud. I don't want to feel like this! I want Mia here with me... I only want to feel her warm hugs and hear her silly laugh. Thinking about that didn't help at all, it made me cry more and scream her name...

"MIIIAAAAA!!!!!!"
