CLAIRE's POV
I don't know what is going on with everyone. They are all acting so weird. Like earlier Nash and Hayes would hardly talk to me and when they did they would be real short. Then I got a text from my cousins Hannah and Shelby saying that they were here. I haven't seen anyone besides my brothers all day and they won't tell me what they are doing going in and out of the hotel. I just decided I wasn't going to worry about it. They were probably just having a war between the rest of the boys so I decided to take a nap.
All of a sudden the door crashes and I jult awake. And I see my two cousins who I missed! " C we missed you!" "I missed y'all to Han and shelbs, what are y'all doing here?" " Thats for us to know and for you to find out tonight, but enough about us we were instructed by Hayes to glam you up!" Said Hannah.
After glam up
"Where am I going!!" "We can't tell you because it will ruin the surprise just remember we will be there when this all happens" Right then someone knocks on the door and Han and shelbs push me to open it. It was Hayes. "I'm here to pick you up and take you to your surprise." As we walked along the hallway. Neither of us spoke but that's how me and Hayes communicated. Not through words but through body language it's like we know what the other one is thinking of saying but the other one knows we know what they were going to say.
So I knew it was going to be big and change things in my life. Finally we got into this nice limo that took us to this beautiful park. It was decorated so pretty. It had twinkly lights, and a boho theme to it. Which was right up my alley. I loved it!
Then Hayes said," this is the only part of the surprise I have the first clue." So my clue is go to the tree with the most twinkly lights that's where you will find your closest friend. XOXO
So I walked by at least 20 trees until I found the one with twinkly lights covering it. It looked just like the one at home where me and Cameron would go when we would go on walks when he was visiting. There waited Hannah her clue was to go down the street to the ice cream shop. But to be careful and look both ways before I crossed the street. I don't want you to get hurt before I see you. I love you!
So I walk and walk until I see the ice cream shop. Their waits Nash and his clue says.
I bet you look beautiful right now. Of course you do you always do! But anyway go back to the park and sit down on the blanket inside the basket is the last clue.
When I get to the blanket and the clue it says " you made it! I hope you had fun and aren't tired. But just wait till you see what's coming next! I love you C!"
Finally Cameron comes out in a tux and is making his way twards me. He looks so good in that! When he gets to me he asked " did you like the little scavenger hunt I made for you?" " Yes I did." "Here is you last clue before something will change I hope forever."
Claire Elizabeth Grier I have known you for at least 8 years. And they have been the best 8 years of my life I hope they were for you! But I have admired you courage and beauty forever. I have loved you since the day I met you and I tried to hold back my feeling but they just kept getting stronger and stronger for you and I hope I don't look like an idiot right now. But will you do me the honor and be my girlfriend?
By then I am crying my eyes out and can't get any words out but nod my head yes!! Then he pulls me close and kisses me! I know it sounds cliche but I felt fireworks and safe in his arms!
