Caitlyn woke up in a soft bed of grass. She stood up and coughed. Then the previous day's events all rushed back to her. For 15 years, Caitlyn had gone through losing a home and all her few possessions, but not like this.

"Are you alright, Caitlyn?" Mr. Brunner asked.

"No," Caitlyn said, "No, I'm not alright! What do you mean I'm a demigod? Why are you a horse? Was that a lion? WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?!? WHERE THE HELL IS MY FAMILY!?"

"I am Chiron," He replied, suprisingly calm, "I am a centaur, the Neiman Lion was what attacked you, and everything I ever taught you about the Greek gods is true."

Caitlyn realized he hadn't answered one of her questions.
"What about my family?" Tears welled up in her eyes because she already  knew the answer.

Chiron hung his head. "I'm so sorry."

Caitlyn turned away from him an stared into the trees. "Where are we?" She asked a several minutes later.

"We are in Central Park, waiting for Argus to come pick us up"
Chiron explained, looking at the dull gray sky.

They stood in silence for a while before a white  van pulled up next to them. The driver was blonde and had blue eyes on his face and hands.

"Wait," Caitlyn said as they climbed into the van "Did you say Greek gods are real?"

Chiron took a deep breath and explained everything about western civilization and the gods and the recent events with the Titans and the Giants.

Caitlyn stared at him. "You're crazy. He's crazy. Where are you taking me?!" She shouted. Caitlyn grabbed the door handle and pulled ferociously.
"Let me out!" She screamed.

"Caitlyn, it's not safe, you caused that light to explode." Chiron held the sliding door shut "The monsters have accepted that you are a demigod, so why won't you?"

"What do you mean I caused the light to explode?" Caitlyn asked.

"Caitlyn," Chiron said patiently, "when you've worked with demigods for centuries, as I have, you can tell if a demigod causes something or not. However, in all my life I cannot say that I have met a demigod with powers like yours. If you leave us, your life will never be at peace. The monsters will never stop hunting you."

The van turned onto a rougher road.

"Where are we going?" Caitlyn asked again.

"Are you coming?"Chiron said in response.

"What?"

"Do you accept that the Greek gods exist, that one of them is your parent, that you are a demigod?"

Caitlyn felt like she knew the answer all along. She closed her eyes. "Yes."

"Open your eyes, Caitlyn, welcome to Camp Half-Blood."

Caitlyn walked with Chiron to the big house, while she was staring at the many cabins, the strawberry feilds, and the lava climbing wall. She looked up in amazement at the huge Athena Parthenos towering over the camp.

Campers stared as they walked by. The walked into the house and came face to face with a handsome young man with green eyes and black hair.

"Hey Chiron," He said, "Tyson said he'd leave my shield here, I'm just here to pick it up"

"I've been away, Percy," Chiron said "I'll go find Mr. D. This is Caitlyn, by the way."

"Hey, Caitlyn," the young man extended a hand as Chiron left towards the strawberry feilds, "I'm Percy. Percy Jackson. I'm sure Chiron's told you about me?"

"Yeah," She shook his hand "Who's Mr. D?"

"That would be me" said a middle-aged, pot-bellied man in a leopard print Hawaiian shirt. "Chiron told me all about you, when you were passed out in Central Park after your foster family had been brutally murdered by the Neiman Lion."

"Dionysis!" Percy said in schock.

"Don't you sass me, Paxton Johnson! Remember, I may be on probation,  but I can still turn you into a dolphin! Aren't you supposed to be at Camp Jupiter University with your little friends, Anne-Marie, Penny, and Jordan?"

"Annabeth, Piper, and Jason," Percy muttered angrily.

"I see you've met Dionysis, also known as Mr. D. He is our camp director." Chiron said as he aproached them from behind.

Just, then, a stately-looking blonde walked up from the road.

"Hey, Seaweed Brain!" She shouted at Percy, "We were supposed to leave ten minutes ago! Where's your sheild?"

"I don't know where Tyson left it," Percy replied, "and be nice around Caitlyn, she just got here."

The blonde turned toward Caitlyn. "Hello, Caitlyn, I'm Annabeth, Percy's girlfriend."

Caitlyn was shocked to find her eyes be a beautiful shade of gray.

Percy and Annabeth walked off arguing about whether or not Tyson put his sheild in the Posidon cabin.

"They make such a lovely couple, don't you think?" Dionysis said.

Caitlyn looked out to the ocean.
"It's night already?"

"You slept the whole day," Chiron said. "Since you haven't been claimed yet, which will probably happen tomorrow, you'll be sleeping in the Hermes cabin."

Ten minutes later Caitlyn entered the Hermes cabin with a borrowed sleeping bag. Silence fell as everyone stared at her. Somehow, word had gotten out about her foster family. She chose an empty spot in the dirty corner to lay her sleeping bag. She could feel everyone's eyes on her as she sat down.  Two brothers, by the look of it, started whispering.

She could only catch the words, light, explode, lion, and family.

Caitlyn glared over her shoulder at them and her vision wavered.

She turned away, but not before everyone saw her eyes change to  black.

Author's Note

I just want to explain my casting.

I chose Abigail Breslin for the role of Caitlyn Wesley because, even thought the only movies I've seen her in are Nim's Island and The Ultimate Gift, I think she's very talented and that she would play the role well.

I chose Peirce Brosnan as Chiron not only because that's who he played in the movies, but because I really appreciate him as an actor. I own a TV show series called Remington Steele were he is the main character. (If you've never heard of this then you should check it out)

I chose Thomas Broadie-Sangster to be Nico DiAngelo  because he made a great Newt in Maze Runner and I think he'd make a great Nico.

I chose Helena Bonham Carter to be Nyx because I've seen her in different roles such as, Bellatrix LeStrange, Fairy Godmother, and the Queen of Hearts. I believe that what defines a good actor is the variety of roles they play.

Yep...
