How did I get a new life you may ask...well. Unlike most giddy, teenage, fan-girls, I had absolutely NO desire to become a vampire. Unfortunately for me, fate and a rude boy named Shadow, had other plans for me.
This lovely story starts out in my small town in Maine...yes Maine, no big bustling city, no scandalous towns...just Maine. Its very exciting...I know. Insert your own little eye roll right here. Anyways, yeah, Shadow is the reason I am in this nice little predicament. He is the one who did it, he is the one who bit me.
Shadow was the kind of kid that no one messed with, but everyone envied. They all had a healthy respect for the guy. I never said two words to the guy before the night he showed up in my bedroom casually setting on my desk waiting for me to wake up...but that is further into our little story here. First things first, if it isn't clear at this point, I, Alica Von Monnet, am now a blood sucking, vampire.
In all honesty I discust myself. I hate the way I am now and I would give anything to change it. If there was a way I would go back and kill Shadow before he could bite me. Now let's get something else straight here. I have no desire to be with Shadow either. Honestly I hate him very, very much. He took away the life I was supposed to have.
