You and Mark went to the hotel that night relieved.
"I told you everything would be fine" he said as he hugged you from behind
"You did" you replied in agreement as you turned around to meet his eyes
"Do you have some magical psychic powers" you teased
"Maybe, that's classified" he shrugged
You kissed him and wrapped your arms around his neck. He picked you up and you giggled. And mark put you on the bed and closed the door
The next day you went rather calm. Ready for the signing. You signed some things. Some people knew your channel, many were asking the same questions. You and mark got up and stood in front of the signing table and mark hugged so many people. It was so nice! You started getting a weird feeling though. You signed a few more things and suddenly heard someone screaming and making a scene. You peered your head to see the commotion. And looked across the line at mark......
One thing lead to another and the last thing you heard was "IM SO TIRED OF THIS SHIT!"
You'll never forget it....the ominous gleam of that black pistol.
Almost instantaneously in an involuntary set of movements you jumped in front of mark, as if you knew what would happen next......
The bang............... the pain................the searing ringing in your right ear................ the blood.
your chest.......... one bullet..........a final gasp..... you collapsed.
You felt time slow
Mark in shock. Refused to move and caught you slighlty as you fell backwards onto the cold floor. He watched you fall as security ambushed the shooter
"GET A FUCKING AMBULANCE" mark screamed
Jack ran to get help
The guys were in shock
