Chapter 7 - The Bet

Twenty minutes later we arrived at Yogurtland and once Piper had parked the car we made our way inside. Five minutes later we walked out of the crazy colourful store with our frozen yogurt, I got the Raspberry Lemonade Sorbet with Trolli sour worms and a strawberry sour strap, Harley got the Devils food cake with Maltesers and chocolate sprinkles, and Piper got the Salted Caramel Hazelnut Gelato with gummy bears. Then we made our way down to the beach which is right next to Yogurtland. Fifteen minutes later we finished our frozen yogurt, once we had finished I checked my watch to see that is was 3:30 pm, I told the other two and we made our way back up to Pipers car and back to school.

The next day Piper picked me up as my wrist were to sore to drive. So once I was ready I hoped into the car and we made our way to school.

When we arrived at school I said my goodbyes to Piper as we made our separate ways to our lockers, once I reached my locker I grabbed my textbooks out and started making my way to my first class for the day which is math.

When I get to my math class I sit in the back row to the seat that is the closers to the window that over look the campus of the school. I put my textbooks on the desk and sit down just in time as Mr. Jones (the math teacher) walks into class.

"Good morning class, today we will be learning about factorise polynomials so please grab a pencil and your maths book to write all you need to know about factorise polynomials, because there will be pop quiz on Monday."

As soon as Mr. Jones mention pop quiz the whole class grunts at the thought, forty minutes later the bell rings to warn us to start making our ways to our next class, so glad that this class is done for the day because my brain is fried, I begin packing up my things and start walking out of the classroom, down the hallway when someone grips onto my arm, I spin around to see who has my arm to see that it is Jasper I rip my arm away from him.

I must say Harley did a pretty good job, he has a big black eye and what looks to be a broken nose. He also is on crutches and what also looks to be a broken leg.

"What do you want Japer?" I say in a anger tone.

"I'm sorry Han...I never meant to hurt you," he says with his puppy dogs eyes.

"Bullshit! and too your sorry means nothing to me...so leave me the fuck alone" I tell before walking away but once again he grabs my arm. I turn to face him and once again I rip my arm away.

"Don't touch me and don't ever talk to me again, because were not friends so get lost before you regret it," I warn him.

"Han, we both know your all talk talk, because you won't even hurt a fly..." as soon as he said that my blood begins to boil so I "accidentally" dropped my textbooks onto his foot and grabbed onto his wrist and squeezed it so tight in till my own wrist begins to hurt from the pressure. I look up at him to see fear in his eyes and thats when I decided to let go.

"I guess you don't really know me then" I say in a serious tone, and then I turn around and start making my way to my locker.

"Bitch," he says but I hardly hear him as I've already walked to far away from him, I look down at my watch to see that he had wasted two minutes of my life that I'll never get back. I start marking my way to my locker and when I get there I tuck my textbooks and then close my locker and start heading my way to pottery class.

(Two hours later)

I'm making way to the cafeteria when someone grabs my shoulder and I'm no need for Jasper's bullshit so I turn around and punch him in the face, and when he falls down I look down to realise.

"O my god sorry Jacob...I thought you were someone else," I say running over to him to help him up.

"God your strong, remind me not to get into your bad books," he says once I help him up, which makes me giggle a bit.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine -" a smirk appears on his face like his just come up with the best idea.

"But if you don't want me to report this I have a deal for you,"

"Before I agree to anything what is it" I say with my arms cross.

"You go out with me"

"God you just don't give up do you?'" I say and he shakes his head.

"So.." he says but before I can answer I spot a big sign behind him thats says "GO WILDCATZ" and I come up with a much better idea.

"What about instead... if our team wins the football match I'll go out with you and if they don't then you won' say anything that just happen (just saying but our school team has lost the last four games)"

"Deal," and with that we shake on it.

It's the end of the day and like the rest of the school I'm off to go and watch the football match, I find a few seats in the back row and I also ended up telling Piper and Harley I was coming so they are also here as well to support our school.

"Okay Han whats the real reason you decided to come, because we both know it's not to support the team because Iv'e asked to come before and you said no, so spill it" Harley says.

"I made a deal with Jacob."

"You do realise they've lost like the last four games, right?" Piper says.

"I know thats why I made the deal,"

"So what is this deal you keep talking about?" Harley question.

"Well if they win I have to go out on a date with Jacob but if they lose he can't report me about me accidentally hitting him in face - ." As soon as I say that both of them just looked at me with shocked expression on their faces.

"I thought he was Jasper."

"Han, this is just a thought but maybe you should check to see who it before you punch them" Piper says with a smile on her face and then her and Harley burst into laugher.

( Hour and a half later)

There is only four minutes left and at the moment the score is 3 - 3, and with last couple of seconds to spare Jacob score the last goal and the school goes crazy, but I just sit there and stare in shock.

"So I guess we know what your doing this weekend" Piper say with a grin on her face.

"Oh shut up," I sheepishly reply.

"Well I guess we will leave you two lovebirds alone then" Harley teases before her and Piper walk away leaving me all alone with Jacob who is now standing right in front of me.

Wow what great friends I have, how did I lose...I so thought I was going to win and I so thought they were going to lose, but of course they win when I make a bet ...

"So are ready our date" Jacob ask with huge smile.

"What now?"

"Yep"

"Okay, let's go" I reply and with that we start making our way to Jacobs car.
