I start to tell him every thing, every detail, when he looked at me and told me. " OK look I know this seems bad be we have to keep going many people out there are dead and somehow we survived... We have to stock up luckily I kept this book safe. You told me it was junk but here."
Max handed me a huge book named " survival tips". I look at the cover and wonder why they put a bloody Axe on it.
Max says " come one we have to start packing you can read that later." I put down the book and pushed out my short blond hair out of my eyes.
I remember getting dressed this morning in my cute little Greg hoody with a white shirt underneath, and looking at my neatly folded blue jeans, then grabbing some black socks with my red convers.
I thought this morning was going to be a normal day and I could see max and be happy but it started. I look at max in his red and black hoodie with a grey shirt, and light blue jeans, his white socks and his new black convers that I bought him.
I smiled remembering the hoodie he's wearing is my hoodie I gave him on our first date. He stopped packing and came and sat over next to me and I felt him put his arm around me.
I looked over smiling and looked into his chocolate eyes with his red hair pushed to the side. He set his head on mine and smiled and said "come one we need to pack I don't want to leave without you."
Just for a moment I felt comfort, it is as if time stoked. He pulled me up and I started packing with him thinking
" I'm leaving my home, in leaving all the comfort I ever had. I'll have to say goodbye to the lake for ever at least I can go with my love." But then in a panic I start to wonder "what about my family, and Max's family my friends everyone ells..."
He looked at me and said." everyone we know may be gone..." I stoped packing and went over to hug him. I could feel the warmth from his warm skin.
I made sure he knew i was there for him, and I started packing again. We got our stuff together and I started walking out the door feeling the rough wall one last time.
I found a pictures of me and him and I put half of them in my red and black checkerd backpack and half of them him his black and grey backpack. I stepped into the tell grass feeling the grass telling me good bye and the waves crying, telling me not to leave.
I knew I had to go so I followed max up the hill and looked back one more time thinking of all the memory's I had. I sighed and continued my journey. I knew I wasn't going to make it. Only one of us would make it... And it was going I be him.
