This is my poem entry for WarriorsOfTheCentury 's competition. I hope you enjoy!

You and your light gray tabby pelt
Outside basking in the sun
Utterly beautiful and amazing

Are you sure you don't have a mate?
Really, cause you're wonderful
Even this is hard for me

May I sit with you?
Young and sleek, I think I like you

Everyday I want to be with you
Very much so, it kills me
Everyday I love being with you
Running around early in the morning
Yellow sun behind your face
The wind ruffling our pelts
Hind legs pouncing
I can't believe how amazing you are
Never leave me
Go nowhere without me

I didn't believe my eyes when we met

Lots of toms like you
Only I hope you like me the best
Vice versa too
End is coming near, who do you pick?

You know, I really like you
Other than my kin I love no cat else
Us sounds amazing to my ears

Will you be my mate?
I'll forever be happy if so
Lots of love will come from me
Little fighting too
Okay if you don't pick me
Who will you pick then?
Life is wonderful with you
Every second we spend, I cherish
At the sound of your voice I smile
Please, pick me, I love you

I hope everyone liked it and please, comment your feelings below! Before you judge Shadow, the first letter of each line in a stanza forms words and then into a saying. If anyone's confused let me know and I'll bold the first letter. This type of poem is called acrostic. Thanks for reading!
